Hurts if thrown at you. Smaller then I thought

They are easy to fill, I bit challenging for younger kids to put back together and sometimes you need several tosses to break but, overall good fun!

These are great and totally reusable and easy for kids to fill and clean up.

These balls are tiny and they have to be thrown extremely hard to break apart. Painful when hit by them, so not a good choice for the little ones.

I loved the thought process behind these but execution was lacking. I definitely did not want water balloons because I didn’t want to pick up ballon remnants from my yard for the next 45 years so I got these. However, when you actually hit someone with them they’re pretty hard so it wasn’t great for the little kids.

Easy to fill and kids had hours of fun in and out of the pool with them!

We ended up filling them with water and then sinking them and the kids diving after them. wanted them to kind of blow up and soak the kids like a real water balloon but they don't really work that way. Fun and extremely good quality just not what we were expecting

Very cool item but alot harder than I would've thought, the rubber is very stiff so not sure I'd wanna be hit with them

I really wanted to love these Super Soaker Hydro Balls from Super Soaker. The idea of reusable water balls is awesome! My kids love water balloons, but filling them takes so long, and the clean up is the worst. This set comes with 6 reusable hydro balls. They are a soft, rubber like ball that is supposed to burst on contact. I like how colorful they are. It makes finding them easy. You can take them apart, and switch them around so you can have multi-colored hydro balls as well! I really love how easy they are to fill. Just dunk under water and squeeze, that's it. It really is that easy. Once filled, they are ready to go and supposed to burst on contact. That's where this product fell short for me. While they are easy to fill, the rubber hydro ball is pretty thick, and in my experience, does not burst on contact a lot of the time. As expected, they are pretty heavy once filled, so when these get thrown at you, they smack and hurt! Most won't burst unless you throw them really hard, and that really does hurt. If you throw them at the ground, or a wall or something else, they will burst, but we didn't have success with throwing them at each other. My kids were pretty disappointed that they didn't seem to work as expected, but did enjoy setting things up and throwing them at stuff. Still, I don't think this is something that will get much use from them, nor would I repurchase them.

These silicone (?) water holding balls are fairly soft and squishy, though are also quite thick so could potentially deliver a bit of a sting along with a soaking if thrown with real force. They separate easily into two halves and both halves have lip sections which help to keep water in when refilling.We’re only just into April, so it’s a bit cold yet to be battling with these - but I think my older nephews (and my brothers!) will have great fun with them out in the garden during the Summer. Being reusable makes these more environmentally friendly than traditional water balloons and since they’re not made of latex (to which one of my nephews is allergic) the boys will actually be able to play with them.These are supplied in largely environmentally-friendly packaging: a simple brown box with basic black printing, and card dividers inside keeping the refillable balls separated. The packaging doesn’t really reveal what’s inside. The only plastic involved was a single piece of tape holding the box shut.

These were great fun. We had the best water fight without having to stop and make lots of water balloons up. It’s a really quick process to use; a very clever design. I like that this is friendlier to the environment as they are reusable rather than the little one time only water balloons.It’s quite fun to throw them and also squeeze them and the water squirts out. We played a daring catch game to catch it lightly so it doesn’t break open. Lots of fun.I would say to be mindful of throwing them hard on bare skin. Legs got caught a couple of times and will leave a little mark, but nothing that stops play. The children were quite close together and throwing over arm so more powerful. At a distance, should be much better.It’s ever so easy to do.Quite expensive, however, if they continue to work, they can be seen as good value. I will update my review if there are any problems
