096 AGM Car Battery 70Ah AGM700 EK700, Large

Very good prices battery & works very well in my car, and at a third of the price of the manufacturer replacement battery...! Will update at a later date if need be, but so far so good. My only niggle is, I wish they would provide the code, or a link to a code, needed to reprogram the car computer accordingly.

Very heavy but solid item. Looked up tutorials online to replace battery for my Golf TDI Mk6 2013 which still has its production battery and done 42k miles. It also needed to be AGM for stop start functionality. This particular battery ticked all the boxes and was £97 on prime delivery, when most other shops sold it for £220. The process was a little fiddly because of the safety plate securing the battery with a nut about 20cm deep between the machinery. However once that was removed (and reinstalled later) it was much easier to install the battery. Car started once I turned the engine on, superb.

I bought this to replace the failing battery in my Renault Scenic Xmod, 63 plate 1.5dci. I checked several places with equivalent batteries costing £160-£250. Then I found this one on amazon. I checked the spec of the car and it said AGM battery. However, when I took the old battery out it was an EFB type. (EFBs can be replace with AGMs but not the other way around!) Don't know if it had previously been replaced with the wrong type, which may account for the electronic issues and lack of start stop function. But now, with the new AGM battery installed, the start stop works perfectly and it has resolved several electronic gremlins! Superb value for money.

Alas I didn't know about BMS resets when I installed this battery and so I cannot say for sure why it started to fail after a couple of years. Therefore I'll still rate it reasonably well and spread the word as it may have been my fault.

Really has got me out of a pickle , came very quick and has stopped my weekend from being a disaster, really happy very easy to fit .

Acheté pour une skoda octavia III 5E5 DE 2015. Excellente batterie, démarrage parfait par temps froid, compatible avec les véhicules équipés de la fonction start & stop. Il est conseillé de fournir (via valise de diag)à l'ordinateur de bord le modèle exact de la batterie, surtout si l'amperage et les caractéristiques sont différentes de votre ancienne batterie.
