Smith machine is very smooth
I had been looking for a power cage for some time. It ordered a different brand originally but it was completely damaged so Amazon returned it. So I went with this brand and opted for the smith machine combo. Surprisingly it arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected, which is awesome. I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews due to it being a bit or miss with parts lining up, but everything I got fit perfectly. No dings or anything so I was incredibly happy about that. I set it up by myself and took maybe 30 minutes to an hour tops? The smith machine is very sturdy and smooth. The rack itself is a bit wobbly as others have mentioned. When performing workouts with the smith machine the cage itself starts to sway back and forth to an extent. But nothing that makes you feel like you’re gonna die in it.Pros:smith machine is very smoothArrived fastFeels solidDecent price pointCons:Not the sturdiest thing in terms of it wobbling(probably contradicts my “pro” but this comes with a price of course. The more you pay the sturdier it is.No option to purchase the lat pull down attachment separately(not really a con but I’d love to have this option!)No landmine attachment. Think it should have one or atleast have an option to get it since just about every other model has it.

Great Home Gym Power Rack
I was hoping for a an affordable power rack that would allow me to do , 450 lb squat and 315 bench press at home and some basic back and arm pull downs ..This rack is very sturdy well engineered for its price range .The lat pull down attachments are very good home gym quality..I work on heavy equipment for a living so I might have an advantage of some when it comes to assembling the equipment and getting it to work smoothly .Putting the rack together was very straight forward ..I used cordless power tools to assist me .I left everything a little loose while assembling to allow wiggle room when lining up parts and hardware ..I referred back to the illustrated images often and they proved helpful .The only portion not fully covered was the extra length of chain for the back row cable .I have noticed several other reviews mention a problem with the cable not long enough, they seem to have not attached the extra length of chain included with the kit , as it is not easily understood by reading the instruction manual but the pictures from the product page has the images of the correct final assembly .Referring to the images I was able to complete the assemblyMy pulley assembly was missing 1 bushing but the company has already sent out a replacement part ..I had high strength chain and bolts in my garage that I used instead of the extra chain in the kit .The chain and screw on links can be purchased cheap at any hardware store .the 2nd picture is what I used .also I used some gorilla tape to hold the plastic bushing in place on the pull down assembly.finally when everything was assembled I used silicone lube to coat the chrome plated lat pull-down bar and plastic bushingsI’m using the extra chain and clamps that came with the gym on the pull down bars and triceps rope for pull downs ..Overall this is a great home gym IMOBetter than expected ..It holds 450 lb with no problem and comes with commercial gym quality safety guardsI bought an extra set of J-hooks for benching .The set it comes with are fine but I didn’t want to keep switching them around when going from squats to bench. The plate holders work well but are a little to close to the rack at the top rung and there is a chance of interference with the bar weights when doing squats inside the power rack , not a huge concern but something to watch out for , the pull up bar has multiple hand gripsThe dip bars also are good I don't use them much but they work fine .I also purchased some other accessories like ankle clips so I can do hamstring and inside and outside leg raises , so with the extra length of chain and the bar lubed up with silicone the whole assembly works smoothly and way better than expected .the product comes with everything you need but adding a few finishing touches like gorilla taping the bushing in place and lubing up the moving parts with silicone lube I think will help a lot ,Again overall I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it as a affordable home gym equipment option ..

It's a gamble at this price
This is just a typical you get what you paid for kind of product. It's actually a pretty solid power rack for the price. However, the gamble really comes into play with quality control. Whereas higher priced items probably have better manufacturing processes, this one lacks. Some of you will get lucky and get parts that fit together seamlessly, others, like myself, will get parts that are misaligned... leading to quite the pain. In my case, it was the pull-up bar.The first one I received was warped and didn't line up correctly. AT ALL. I requested a replacement part. To the sellers credit, I received the new part swiftly. However, I wasn't lucky this time either... as the replacement part ALSO did not fit. I could only get one bolt lined up and through (out of 4 on this section) before needing to bend metal to get it to fit. Mind you the bolt I got into its designated slot WAS NOT tightened down with the nut, just there as a place holder to pin one end in so I could try to twist the rest of it into place. NO DICE.And, no, this isn't an issue that needs a bit of the proverbial "elbow grease". The amount of torque it would take to get this thing in place would require several people and/or machinery. But even with all of that, I wasn't particularly upset because I understood the risks when buying at this price. The full reason this products gets a 2 star review is because when I reached out to customer service again **CRICKETS**. No help. No swift response (none at all) or guidance on what I could happen next to address the issue. GHOSTED. So I'm requesting a return & refund. That's it. That's all I got. I'm sure others have had plenty of other issues with this product since, as I've said, QC probably isn't top-notch and other parts probably are produced at inconsistent qualities. Feel free to gamble. But just know that you are indeed gambling. Hope you get one of the good ones.***UPDATE: The seller did contract me back after a few days. They sent another replacement pull-up bar and this one worked! Most of the previous review still stands. Order with hopes of getting it right the first time. But do know it seems the company will do everything it can to rectify any issues. Bumping this up to four stars due to sellers pretty good customer service.
