I was going to write a 5-star review, and then this happened
With all the headphones I've owned over the years, of all types, cheap and expensive, I've never had the cover of the 3.5mm plug simply slide up the cable when I tried to remove them from my Fiio X1 2nd gen player. I don't know if this is due to no/insufficient glue applied at the factory, or... erm, I can't think of another reason.I suspect that applying superglue might melt the black inner plastic - and therefore ruin my guarantee - so I will struggle on for now as I like these 'phones appearance, sound and noise isolation qualities (and they're not even run in yet, with a slightly pronounced treble which I hope will smooth out over time) and hope nothing else goes wrong. I also hope this is a one-off and not indicative of general poor build quality. We'll see...Anyway, the intent of me removing the 'phones from the X1 was twofold; to give them some more running-in and to compare them - using a neutral, flat source* (no tone controls or graphic equalization) - with my best headphones, my Phillips Fidelio X2s. Of course, I know this is an unbalanced and unfair test, it's just that I wanted to see how close (or not) the gap between them was.Well, first up, the Sephias were about 10dB louder for the same volume setting, and the bass is there - just not in the quantity the X2s produce - as expected. This is why there are graphic equalizers in the world, and on mp3 players such as my X1, to compensate for this. Still, after warming up (about 5-10 minutes) the bass of the Sephias was acceptable, so long as I got a good seal in my ear, and on balance I wouldn't let/use the X2s on public transport as they bleed sound so everybody can join in, whether or not they want to!At nearly 30x the Sephias price the X2s are (of course) much better, but certainly not 30x better. At the price they are very good - apart from the plug problem, which is serious enough, I think, for me to remove two stars thanks to the reliability and build quality issues raised by this situation - and I'm glad I bought them... I think...Oh, and the L and R on the buds themselves could do with being a lot easier to read.

Great Sound, Poor Packaging
OK, so the key ingredient here is that the sound quality and build quality of the headphones is good, from initial testing. We'll see how they fair over the coming weeks and months. The really big negative for me though, was the packaging. The headphones come complete with a set of sized buds, to suit all sorts of ears. Included in the spares are some memory foam buds, which was what I was looking for. Unfortunately they were crushed in the box and as a result are very flat. At least half of the buds are misshapen, rendering them not ideal.Overall, good sound quality, poor packaging.

Very Very loud
I Must say, I get complemented allot wearing these headphones. They look much more expensive than the price you paid.However... the look isn't what matters.. it is the sound.Firstly, total noise blocking. Can't hear nothing on the outside when these are in. Good. That is good. But they are too loud. I'm a music addict and I like music turned up when I walk. But damn, with these in I can only have the volume on 13 or 14/15. You leave these in too long and your head will hurt. I borrowed these to my pal once and he never asked for them again. He couldn't stand how loud it was.If loud is your thing... this is what you need. But these seem to lower the music quality for me to give it a perfect rating. I still however give it 4 stars.

I was really surprised by how much I liked these considering the price
I was really surprised by how much I liked these considering the price. I ordered them as a spare set (largely because I figured the colour would make them harder to lose as they're so visible!) but have found myself using them even when gaming as a smaller, lighter alternative to my Turtle Beach ones.To my undiscerning ear the sound quality is excellent- the noise isolation is more than adequate for what I need: although I most commonly use them at home so cannot vouch for how they would fare in more noisy environments, they did succeed in helping me drown out the sound of my neighbour's dreadful alarm. Considering this alarm is bad enough to cause migraines and nausea the fact that I could not hear it at all was quite impressive! They came in a sturdy box with a great range of different sized earbuds, although I found the ones that came attached to be very comfortable, and a handy small pouch which so far has proven helpful in avoiding tangling.I would have loved if there was a volume adjustment feature inbuilt, purely as when gaming it's easier to adjust via headsets than going into console/game settings, but this is minor and won't be an issue if being used with a phone/music playback device.Would definitely recomment and buy again

Decent for the price
Decent pair of headphones for the price. Sound quality is good, for the price you won't find many better. They are comfortable but they feel like they stick quite far out of your ear. They come with many different ear buds which were easy to change, these came in a decent little case. The cable is quite rigid which means it doesn't tend to lay flat, I think this ended up causing them to die. They last me just over a year. I didn't treat them badly but they did tend to get shoved in my back pocket and sat on a lot. In the end the cord started to come away from the ear buds and eventually the right one gave up. Overall for the price you can't go wrong

Solid, quality earphones.
TL;DR: They've survived my brother and sound great. Regularly on sale.Really nice, good quality earphones. I got them during the Christmas sale for my brother who happens to go through earphones at an alarming rate. They're still alive now, as it happens. I know that five months doesn't sound like a long time, but for Ben it is.That being said, I've used them myself and I can confirm they're great. Personally I'd get them while on a sale but then I prefer headphones to earphones out of preference (and experience; earphones can only go so far quality and life wise). If you can get these earphones on sale they're absolutely worth it.
