Tamiya 300035184 1:35 WWII Figurine Set, Machine Gun Troop in Manoeuvre (5)

I'll start off by saying this kit really isn't bad. Some tamiya figure sets can be prone to low detail and over dramatic, cheesey posing but even by modern standards, these figures are workable with some up detailing and simple modelling skills. Like all tamiya figures of this era, they need a little modelling work to remove moulding seams, fill gaps and get the pieces to align, especially the arm to shoulder joins, but this is all expected. One observation is that in order to get this squad to look truly historical, you need more ammunition in evidence. I mean, like every squad member loaded down with the stuff; both boxes and belts. You get a couple of boxes with the whole kit. That is probably the bare minimum for just one of the ammo carriers and about 10 seconds of firing for the MG42. So i got more ammo for other sources.On the balance of price v potential, 5 stars.

Super fast delivery, good packing and product arrived in one piece. Great detailed product. Deducted one star because it was casted with dark green plastic and it could be a problem when painting flesh color on it. But still, it's a good kit.

Dissapointed with Tamiya, expected a better qaulity mould, very poorly made I've had to use filler on all the joints on the figures.What's going on Tamiya.Improve or don't bother.
