OMG!!!! This stuff actually WORKS!! My husband and I purchased this three months ago for less than $50.00 and before we used this, we were losing all of our Freon every two weeks and had to call out the "professionals" and refill the system constantly. It got so expensive that we had to actually go without air conditioning for a long time until we tried this. It took exactly FIVE MINUTES to put this in the A/C compressor. That is all we did. We called out and got our unit filled with more Freon and then we put this product in the unit, turned it on, and it has NOT leaked any Freon since. UNBELIEVABLE but it is TRUE. Without this product we were looking at a $1,200 repair, but we fixed it for only $50 bucks. And our professional servicer said not to use this product because it would not fix our leak, but he did not know what he was talking about. It DID fix our leak. If my system ever starts leaking again, I would buy this product before paying thousands of dollars. Still working after three months my house is cold.

Did not work
I bought this product to try to stop a small leak in my Home A/C evaporator coil. The leak has been in the system a couple of years now. I injected the product into the A/C low port side as direction stated and had the system recharged. The Product states it stops leaks .05mm which under high pressure this would be a a pretty good leak. My unit is a 3 ton the kit will cover up to a 6 ton. Bottom line my unit is still leaking it did not work for me waste of money.

Easy install - definitely needed caulk gun
Holding R22 and no compressor problems for me. Make sure you are ready to start right away and using a caulk gun for strength. I followed all the instructions, purge air out of syringe first, suction side large line connection, start as soon as the compressor is up to speed. Go slow to not slug the compressor, but don't take more than 1-2 minutes because the pressure builds and even with a caulk gun it can be difficult. See their website for installation video, and pictures showing using a standard caulk gun. For all the information, check both rectorseal and leakfreeze websites:"Low pressure (40psi and under): simply push AC Leak Freeze™ in with the syringe plungerB. Med-high pressure (80psi and under): place the syringe in a standard caulk gun and slowly ratchet AC Leak Freeze™ into the system (FIG.C)C. High pressure (above 80psi): Pump down the system to reduce pressure on the low side of and use method A or BIf the system loses a pound of refrigerant sooner within two weeks, A/C Leak Freeze will not seal the leak. However, A/C Leak Freeze repairs hard-to-find leaks. For example, refrigerant leaks of one to three pounds over acooling season can be repaired using A/C Leak Freeze."

Works some times
This is the second time using this product. The first time it worked and sealed hole for 3 years. This time I guess the hole was too big. So I wasted $300 in Freon.

Saved me $2000
Our piece of junk 2 year old Whirlpool French door model WRF989SDAH00 stopped cooling. Did not purchased an extended warranty. Wish we had. Whirlpool did replace the evaporator and dryer as that was under a 5 year warranty. Two days later it stopped cooling again. More coolant was replaced and again in two days it stopped cooling again. The AE qualified repairman could not get to the leak/leaks. The refrigerator was deemed not "repairable". Whirlpool offered to ship me a different model and smaller than the 27 cu ft refrigerator at a discounted price of $1500. No way!We purchased A/c Leak Freeze from Amazon. The AE repairman installed partial amount of the Leak Freeze and added more coolant. The refrigerator has been working great for 6 days now. Even runs cooler and quieter now.We contacted Leak Freeze support for instructions for more detail instructions and they were extremely helpful answering our email questions within a couple of hours. Only partial amount was used, so you do need email Leak Freeze support for the correct amount. It appears the new models of French door refrigerators have problems, even though I hate extended warranties, I suggest buy one!

one went bad in 2016
Have two A/C condenser units about 25yrs old....one went bad in 2016, inject this in with help of caulk gun while condenser is running, then after 1min, added R22 refrigerant replacement (ecofreeez); works magic after over 1yr....the unit still leaks free. Aug 2017; repeating the process now to my 2nd condenser unit. Most repairman will say system too old....and need to replace the whole condenser unit which is around $2000 for part/labor. Ecofreeez is around $150 if u get it during cooler months, $200 around warmer months; from Ebay. One tank of Ecofreeez is good for both of my condenser units, I just used timer and time it for 3min when adding ecofreeez into the unit with half a turn on the valve, about 2/10 still left in the tank, after charging both condenser units. These steps worth a try, if you're price conscious individual like myself.Product stated that "leak freeze" might not work will if hole/leakage is larger than 0.5mm (tip of ballpoint pen)
