Very few pieces were thin, but all were even thickness throughout the whole piece. Great for engraving and decorating. Will make nice gift sets with these coasters. Being a natural stone, there will be variations but these do all seem to be about the same thickness and diameter. They have a nice natural feel but are smooth enough that they will take an engraving quite well.
