Works great, as advertised. They are very sturdy and built well. Just make sure to mount them securely with your own hardware. Used them for fast trolling, deep trolling, halibut drifts, you name it. The ability to adjust them to just about any angle you could want is a dream. 5/5.

Very sturdy and strong mount .I like the way you can adjust so many ways.

Installed it on my Pathfinder 22, slightly behind the front cleat. I did have a little wobble due to the middle threaded flange being a touch too long underneath. I sanded it down a slight bit with a Dremel tool and resolved the issue. Considering the price and quality I view this as minor. A great addition to the boat considering I had no front rod holders before.

Very surprised at how well this is put together. Does not come with mounting screws and I decided to grind some drainage channels in the bottom. Only because it doesnt come with screws did I give it 4 stars, wanted to match metal types and get right camber for self tapping screws took a bit of research and time. But over all the product looks and feels well constructed. I didnt have any issues with cutting threads like some of the other posts said. All in all, I ordered flush mount rod holders from same company because I was so please with these, already had the screws!

I really like these. I live on a river and secured them to my dock super easy.My only issue is changing the direction according to how the river is flowing. I keep a pair of pliers nearby to adjust accordingly.Don’t get me wrong, they are solid. I’ll take a trip to the local hardware store and piece together a solution that’s easy on my hands.Definitely recommend!

These are great. You can adjust them just about any way you want.

Initial review. if the quality does not hold up I will leave another review. no surprises. just as shown in the pictures and as described. good quality. operates correctly. simple surface mount installation. center screw does not extend past the bottom of the mount like some others are described.

I mount 3 of these on my Stamas hardtop and they function perfectly. I was worried that the weight of an offshore rod/reel would lessen their integrity but that have withstood many bouncing around. Make sure to tighten the upper part that swivels really good to keep them from loosening while running offshore. I have mounted 30W and 50W in them without a problem.
