Technical Studies for Cello Vol.1

I used this book in my learning and have loved using it with my students. It has many great bowing techniques as well as minor and major scales, arpeggios, and triads. I highly recommend for intermediate to advanced students.

Our cello teacher asked us to purchase this for use in conjunction with the Suzuki Cello method. We are near the end of book 1 in Suzuki Cello and just introducing this book into daily practice time for a ten year old. Nice thick pages in this book, and it is jam packed with scales that progressively get harder - nothing too exciting, but this is the type of daily practice that products great playing!

My son is taking private lessons. His instructor recommended this book to help him in his skills. My son isn't exactly happy with playing from this book because he finds it difficult. (12 yrs old). I can tell a difference in the positive direction with his playing ability.
