Q: Is this trumpet Good quality?

I am a band director with 10 years of experience and a masters degree in music education. DO NOT BUY THIS INSTRUMENT. It is poorly made and may work for a short time, but once something goes wrong no repair shops will be able to fix it. I have a 6th grade student currently trying to play on one of these pieces of junk and every time he tries to blow in to it, the tuning slide falls out, frustrating the boy and making it impossible to play. Poor quality, poor craftsmanship-- stick with a reputable brand like Yamaha or Conn/Selmer when purchasing instruments. They may cost a little more, but I still have the same Yamaha trumpet I started on as a 5th grader in 1994 and it still works like its brand new.

Q: Is the caze good quality?

Yes, it is a good case. It is not hard, but still protects. It may not look nice, but it does its job well.

Q: why doesn't the one I ordered play... or make a sound

Make sure the valves are in the correct cylinders . Make sure the valve guides are in the valve guide cylinder slots .
