This is a review for the HW-Q600C
Beware--most of the reviews here are NOT for the HW-Q600C. This one is.I have a 55" Samsung Frame TV in a room that is approximately 14x14. The HW-Q600C is the perfect soundbar for this configuration.I have the soundbar connected to the TV via an HDMI cable into the eARC jack on the soundbar. This gives better sound reproduction than using a digital optical connection. Setup was very easy. The remote that came with the TV controls the sound, with the exception of the subwoofer volume.I've tried a variety of media, including movies, sports (football and basketball) and TV shows, with both dialogue-forward and sound effect-forward content. This soundbar delivers the goods in all situations. The sound mode (standard, surround, etc.) and equalization settings are easy to change, so you can tailor the sound to your preference or to room acoustics. It also handles Dolby Atmos signals. You can add wireless rear speakers to this system (which already comes with a wireless subwoofer, which works well; I scared the hell out of my dog when I cranked the sound), but since it's a 3.1 system (that center channel in the soundbar really seems to help with voice clarity), you won't get discrete rear channels. Instead, it's a mixed signal being sent to the rears. I don't need rear channels, but if you want a true home theater experience, you might want a more expensive 5.1 soundbar. All in all, I highly recommend this mid-priced offering from Samsung. If you own a Samsung TV, it's a no brainer.

Great for Movies, Even Better for Music
The Q60B soundbar provided a significant, immediate improvement to my Samsung TV. It integrates well and was a snap to set up. Samsung put some engineering thought into how the two should sound together.Q-Symphony (only available on newer Samsung TVs) integrates the two products and sounds better than the soundbar by itself. It makes dialog much clearer. Try it on a blockbuster movie - the woofer really makes the dynamic range impressive. The soundbar is superb for music as well. You can stream Spotify, etc. directly via Bluetooth from your phone but once again — Q-Symphony sounds significantly better than the soundbar alone. Smoother, dramatic highs, wider soundstage. I’m guessing that it has something to do with the Dolby/DTS processing, not just the extra two speakers on the corners of the Samsung TV. But the benefits disappear when you turn off the TV and listen to the soundbar alone (e.g., streaming directly to the Q60B over bluetooth).Set-Up Notes:1) It takes a little tweaking to get the optimum performance. The subwoofer was too boomy out of the box. I decreased bass -3 and increased treble +2.2) I tried all the surround modes repeatedly and “Surround Sound” was the best. The other modes pull everything into a narrow sound stage.3) If you get lost during set up - find a YouTube video. The Owners manual is useless.

Zero Disappointment.
Had it for about a month, I have zero complaints. Set up, pairing and use are all simple. Paired the rear speakers and sub at different times, no problem. Setting up q-symphony, no problem. Fills our large living room with good sound from tv or Bluetooth. Hit the voice boost if you are annoyed with a certain show and it’s bass level, can turn it way down and hear the voices clear as day. Sound has come a very long way since spending multiple thousands on a wired 5.1 system many years ago.

It Just Works and Sounds Great!
After 7 years a Bose 300 soundbar died. After using the Samsung QS730D I am happy it did. The ease of use with the Bose 300 was not very good even for an engineer so with some trepidation I unboxed the Samsung Soundbar. The quick user manual was brief and I didn't see anything beyond safety precautions and plugging the unit in.So I plugged in the HDMI cable and power cable to both the soundbar and subwoofer. And my apprehension disappeared when by magic it all just worked! No paring the subwoofer to the soundbar. Using my TV controller I turned off the sound and the Samsung Soundbar was right there. Wow.The only thing I paired was my phone and the Samsung SmartThings app on my phone and that was without issue, following the theme of this review, it just all works. Pairing the phone allowed me to cast music and adjust setting from the phone. The only knocks about this Soundbar is the remote control and the display on the speaker. The volume button is multi-functional. Pushing it down mutes the speaker and pushing the single volume button forward and back turns the volume up and down. It is just not initiative. I am happy to control the settings on the phone cause the 4 character menu display behind the speaker grill is comical at best. Alas these thing don't matter much.Oh the sound is very good too. Highly rated. Stop looking just buy this soundbar.
