They feel good in the hands. For me the balanced weight is ideal. Smooth clean cuts thru fruit and tomatoes. Work well with meats also. I would though recommend a good quality cutting board when using these. There is no reason to push down hard on the board surface because they are razor sharp right out of the packaging. I have used them for a few months now and they hold their edge very well. If I am cutting cooked thicker meat, I will use a couple swipes of a metal honing rod to quickly restore them to perfect edge sharpness before cutting. I am planing on buying a few more types of knives from this company. Also, if you don’t have one yet, I’d recommend a wood block to organize the knives.
