Glycerin. Animal or vegetable origin? Is this product suitable for vegans?** A: I have not checked, but my partner uses this and she is a vegan :) **Q: What is the texture of this balm like please? is it waxy like petroleum jelly? oily? or more of a cream? thanks in advance** A: It’s closer to a gel. I wouldn’t call it oily but you can feel the residue on your lips longer than with a cream, but it does become absorbed fairly quickly, unlike petroleum jelly which doesn’t get absorbed at all. It is excellent for dry and cracked lips, I’ve not used anything else since I found this product three years ago.
