I only did a couple of tests, but much better than the $50 unit that replaces.I did mayo, which mixed so well and quickly, and an ice cream shake, which I didn't even felt the hard compressed ice-cream. This blender is very powerful.It does look beautiful.I almost didn't bought this blender because of the pictures, but those pictures clearly show product misuse, and people who bought it from the wrong seller. If you see "ships from and sold by Amazon.com", don't be afraid and order it, you'll get the american version.I'm not very interested in the attachments but I left a bunch of pictures in case you are.You'll have to get used to operate the blender. A bit annoying in the beginning with the safety system.The blender have two buttons; the one on the very top is to unlock and be able to use the blender. It goes from red to green when you push it. Then you can use the trigger to blend. The trigger is absolutely awesome. Perfectly made, it gives you total control, so easy to use. The safety button self-locks in less than two seconds, but you can easily push it again with the same hand, not a big deal.The shape and the flexible shaft allows you to get amazing results, at a price. It is considerably harder to clean by hand. But if you use the dishwasher no problem.I was very impressed by the Anti-Splash technology. I actually tried to make it splash by slowly removing at full power the blender while I was making the milk shake, and not even a single drop splashed anywhere. Very good for me because I was always making a mess with my prior blender.The only thing I really didn't like was the back handle material. It is cheap rubber that will always stay dirty.Make sure you wash every single piece as the manual says, or you could end up with some rusted parts as other people experienced with similar Braun models.

I lived with someone who did some searching online and found a suggestion to use a Braun hand blender.Well, they got one, and I used it for years while I lived there.Fast forward to now. I tried using a KitchenAid, and it splashed my Bulletproof coffee all over the counter!Ok, I know what to do. Order a Braun!! They designed the end with the blades to be a kind of modified bell shape, and that directs the liquid or whatever you're blending downwards instead of violently outwards, and it never splashes my coffee out of the mason jar and all over the counter like other brands.So anyway, I highly recommend Braun Multiquick blenders. The 9 is the top of the line obviously, but the first Braun Multiquick I used was a 5 and it never let us down, we even made mayonnaise with it, no problem.NOTE: I had to return my 9, and got the 7 instead. I have to say, I think I like the 7 better, because the 9 has a kind of safety lock on the top you have to push before the trigger works. The 7 just has a trigger, and I like that since I don't have any kids here to worry about getting hurt.

I use this probably twice a week. I make lots of sauces, especially enchilada sauce from fresh chili. The potato masher part is just like using a ricer, goodbye chunks of potatoes. (I use to use a ricer but only for company) Don't use this if you want perfectly chopped onion, however if my onion is going in a meatloaf or whatever, what does it mater that it is perfectly chopped? Works well mixing many spices for rubs. Every day I find new uses for it. Easy to clean, yes it means you are cleaning more stuff (mashed potatoes can be done with simple masher and whip), but they don't come out as nice as when I use this, so I wash more things. I bought because I saw a chef in Santa Fe use it to make his enchilada sauce, instead of a blender. Easier to clean than a blender. Draw backs ... I wish it was cordless.

Braun MQ9037 Multiquick 9.I’ve had this about a week, and it is exactly what I was looking for. So far, I’ve only used the blender accessory, I haven’t had a chance to use the masher or the food processor accessory, but I have no doubt they will work just as well.. It blends beautifully and cleans up flawlessly. The previous immersion blender I had, I ended up having to throw away, because I couldn’t clean it thoroughly. This one comes 100% clean- no nooks or crannies to trap food particles.I also love that you can make a smoothie without having to add excess water or juice. Just put your fruit in the cup and blend it into a nice thick drink.I mainly bought it so that I could use it to blend my homemade kefir with frozen fruit. Works perfectly for that, too.

I love this immersion blender when I make soup!! Or even pasta sauces!The blender is amazing.The whisker does a great job, but be carful with messes.The masher is ok, not very strong. But was able to mash up cooked potatoes after a bit.The chopper… trash. I mean it chopos meh, but what really annoyed me is the fact that if you chop anything slightly liquify it’s a quarenteed mess. It will spill out of the lip. And it’s a very weak chopper.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a European brand blender and I really liked this model. High quality product as Braun always provides. I actually liked this function that blocks the blender after a few seconds of not using it - some people find it annoying, but I think it’s a great safety measure especially for those with kids. I also like that the speed is controlled by applying pressure on the one main button. The splash control also works great , the blender moves smoothly without making any mess and it’s pretty powerful device.

Blends perfectly. The mashing tool does do a better job on soft foods like potatoes. The chopping container is large and cleans easily. I use it to chop all my onion, garlic and ginger - no more tears. The cup is good for mixing one cup, but i would have liked a tall narrow pitcher like I had with another blender. The safety feature of holding the top down while depressing the on button is a bit annoying, but I found you can let go of the top after the blade starts so perfect then. I haven't figured out the speed control, but I tend to go full speed on blenders so not an issue.
