I have rheumatoid arthritis and this, together with a thick and heavy king sized mattress, makes tucking bedding in somewhat difficult. I bought these as they are wooden and would appear to be more robust than plastic. I am very impressed with how easy it is now to make my beds. To me, the beds now look as though they have been mad by a professional. Good buy, probably don't need two but, in case one breaks........!

This mattress lifter is brilliant and has a lovely feel - more expensive but much better than the plastic versions. It makes tucking in the sheets easy and being wood doesn't snag the celluloid blanket. I am using one in our bedroom and the other one for the guest bedroom.
