There is a really nice texture to the bars which make holding onto them really easy. This is a similar texture to what you will find on commercial monkey bars at newer public playgrounds because it is harder to lose your grip. As far as quality the welds on these bars is nice and clean/strong. I am 240 lbs and there is no flex or deflection with me using them. The included hardware looks like stainless steel, but they just call it "anti-rust hardware". It seems good, but I prefer star heads so used different hardware. The bar itself has champhered holes so that fluted wood screws sit nice and flush in there. For the price these are great. I will be picking up a second set to make a nice long run.
