They did allow some leaking but I will keep experimenting.

Love cooking eggs in these so much that I sent a set to my Mom—she loves them, too!To COOK: I’ve sprayed them with oil and also used melted butter before placing the eggs in them. Believe it or not, I’ve found that cooking the eggs without any coating works BEST! When the 5-minute cook time is up, shut the heat off, remove the pan lid, pick up each silicone cup and turn it upside down to shake off any water (from the steam). Then, using a cake-like rubber spatula, run it around the entire cup and under the egg—it comes out very easily! No more watered down poached eggs in my home!To CLEAN: There’s multiple ways, but I’ve found the best way is to leave the cups on the counter to air out. Later in the day, turn them inside out and scrape off the dried egg flakes. Running a dry cloth over them helps to remove any residual egg specks.Works great for serving 2 eggs to 2 people so I’m going to place an order for another set right now so I can poach eggs when we have company!

I really like that these are dishwasher safe! Using the product may take some trials! The first time I tried this, I overcooked my eggs.

I had a hard time using these and getting consistent eggs. I wouldn’t purchase again.
