Whirlpool W10111435 Bellow

It's not the item number that is advertised..its much flimsier and def not an original part..but..it fits the washer and meanwhile it's not leaking..

Perfect replacement for whirlpool duet sport washer model WFW8300SW03.I verified the part number, and it was a higher revision than mine, but otherwise was an exact match.The part number printed on the new bellows was 8540952/12, mine was 8540952/5.I had to trim the openings on the drain port a little bit, as they were not cut perfectly and there was some excess material. Otherwise, no worries.Note that this part is delivered by different suppliers, so your mileage may very based on the supplier. The one I got was delivered by Primeco.The hardest part of the repair was to get the outside bellows spring-clamp back in place. Easy to remove, hard to put back!I recommend youtube video NTSiin55Ynk. The fellow in this video was very thorough, even if the camera work was spotty at times.Don't forget to clean out the drain filter, which is visible when you remove the bottom panel. Mine was really gross, since I didn't even know about it in the 10 years we have owned this washer. It needs to be cleaned regularly. I believe it was the main reason that the washer was extending the time of the cycle, because the clogging made it drain more slowly.On the bright side, I found 87 cents in there.Also, run the clean cycle with some bleach only - it is how I verified the leaking door, and removed soap residue that had built up over the years.

replacement bellows as expected for my Maytag EpicZ washer.Arrive twisted and folded into quarters and stuff in a soft-sided envelope. Had to let it relax flat(ter) in a sunny location for a week before installing.The fit around the lip of the tub was challenging, needing a little silicone lube, and three or four hands! (I only had two and a knee.)Absolutely watch the Youtube videos on installing these bellows before your decide to buy and DIY. Although conceptually simple, it took effort, patience, and some creativity to complete the job myself, even being a frequent DIY mechanic, handyman, and upkeep kind of person.Wondering why Amazon shows these bellows are frequently bought together with the gasket retaining wire? Getting the retainer off and on will more likely than not stretch out the spring or bend a wire so badly, that a new one will be needed. Plus they can get corroded if the bellows has been leaking too long. I managed to cut down a stretched spring and re-used my old one, but it almost meant ordering a new one, while the washer was in pieces.

Our bellow had a small tear in the front that was allowing water to leak out during the cycle, and after searching the web I realized this is something we could do ourselves and save $300+ on a service call, etc..One thing that was frustrating was finding the right bellow for our model, so I hope that this will help others with the Whirlpool Duet Sport Model #WFW8300SW03. This bellow works perfectly, and the installation was a breeze.Note: The three little holes on this bellow should be on the bottom when installing.The worst part about the installation was the variety of tools needed, however it was only THREE as follows:Phillips Screwdriver (one screw under the front electrical panel and bellow clamp)1/4" Socket OR Nut Driver (for removing the front panels and the top panel)Small Start Bit OR Driver (not exactly sure what size, as I have a complete set. used to remove one screw under the dispenser tray)Optional:Flat head screwdriver (for removing the first tension clamp)Other than that friends, the installation was super easy and everything fit together well. Make sure you double check the bellow is sealed along each edge before installing the clamps.I would highly recommend this product, and highly recommend you do-it-yourself and save time/money.Follow the instructions on this video as a guideline: [...]Good luck! Purchased this particular listing primarily hoping the bellow/seal would not come all bundled up and wrinkled as it was listing in another listing. The seal came intact in perfect shape. Allotted myself plenty of time to make the swap. From start to finish it to approximately an hour. I consider myself moderately mechanically inclined. Watching the replacement on several YouTube videos, my model was not completely the same as many of the videos on there, so I had to modify the process some. The only time I needed help during the replacement was at the very end getting the ringed clasp on the outer bellow/seal. So an extra set of hands will help. Seal came in a OEM Whirlpool Box, so the part is legit. It does look thicker and better made thank the seal replaced, but may be because it is new. Got everything in and no more leak from the bottom of the washer. Gave Durability 4 stars due to it only being installed for 3-4 days.

I was pleased to see that it looks to be genuine Whirlpool replacement part. I went ahead and replaced this while I was replacing the busted drain pump. Found a small hole in original. I thought about fixing the original and keeping it as a spare. But that awful stink would not come out. Getting the wire clamps back on correctly takes effort. The outer spring clamp goes much faster with another person providing a third hand. Installation videos show using a vice grip. But I thought the potential to damage a brand new bellow was not acceptable and just had another person lend a hand keeping the gasket in place for the final stretch to install the clamp

Did what it was supposed to. Hard to put on, plan a few hours for this and get another pair of hands to help you!

Garbage! Visibly defective product right out of the sealed, undamaged packaging! Unacceptable! Rates a “0” ⭐️ period! Unable to rate “Ease of installation” as it isn’t worthy of the attempt.... Sad that product such as this even gets processed... What a waste that we all pay for as consumers !!! 😡
