Foampro404 Foam Paint Roller, 4 Inch

I painted a picket fence with these rollers. Larger rollers were too wide and flung paint between the pickets. These were the right width. But since I did the entire fence with it, the double roller helped get it done faster. It isn't quite double speed, but it definitely helps. There are some caveats, you lose some of the precise control of the single roller because the middle will turn if you try to paint with only one roller. Also it takes more clean up, paint builds up in the spinner between rollers. Since I was using exterior paint, I had to soak it in acetone and then clean it out with a needle tool. And you will go through roller brushes twice as fast. Other than painting skinny things, it would also be useful in a small room or closet where you didn't want to get out a full size roller, but need it to go faster than the single mini roller.

Love this ... But one of the rods came off and is not usable

Best roller I have found! Covers extremely well, clean finish, and painted the wall in half the time.
