Small but very sturdy and easy to adjust to set up my laptop (which I use as a desktop replacement) at the ideal height and angle for viewing the screen. A great value for a quality stand with a well thought out design that looks really nice on my desk.

Great product. I work from home and use a laptop. I don't know why I waited so long to buy this product! It makes long days on the computer much more comfortable. Also, this is pretty sturdy...no wobbles!

There are a bunch of these types of laptop stands and I’m actually not using it for that purpose (using it to place an extra keyboard and mini monitor on it) but aside from it being super sturdy, I like the design on the bottom arms which curve, enabling you to place and access other equipment below it. Most of the other products have a straight arm which gets in the way. The sturdiness is excellent with no noticeable wobble. The tension is extremely tight and you need to put some strength in it to adjust. It’s tough, but any adult can easily adjust the angles. With the two adjustable points, you can get the desired height and slant desired. Super versatile. No assembly required and super light. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something like this.

I have purchased four different stands of the higher rated stands that cost less than $20 in the last month or so and this one is my favorite, while these sit around this office, it does fold down into a more compact package for portability if that is what you are looking for and seem to be the sturdiest of the batch. I purchased the silver color because it was substantially cheaper than the black stand, but I would have preferred the black stand. It folds easily when you intend it to, but it does not fold under the weight of my 16" work issued Dell laptop that is overly heavy. Very sturdy when used with 13" iPad.

This is a much cheaper copy (at least from what I can gather) of the AVLT power stand whose review I put below. I wanted a second one to keep at home because one doesn't want to close and unfurl this thing every day and carry to/from work or coffee shop. If you leave it open it will bang into doors, if you close it then you will inevitably pinch fingers or potentially wear our the hinges (besides taking effort). Note: it also makes a good reading stand for even large books, great for studying if you have a textbook you want propped up. The only issue worth pointing out is that on this model, you trade 50% of the original purchase price for a lower quality bead blasting on the aluminum that doesn't match mac computers as well. It's that shinier anodizing you see on less expensive aluminum accessories that isn't as matte or soft as the mac type finer finish. Still though, if this is for work, get this one unless you are so OCD that the difference will bother you. That this is the second of these stands I have bought should indicate something (the other the AVLT power before this clone was on offer). Review of the unit this one copies: This laptop stand accomplished several things I was after. It's sturdy enough for heavier laptops, adjustable enough to get any position I was after, and matches the mac aesthetic without ugly branding or cheap plastic components. The carry handle is welcomed. If there are drawbacks, they are the price and that necessarily, the hinges are hard enough to move that you don't want to collapse to carry elsewhere all the time. Finger pinching while adjusting may happen if you aren't careful while collapsing. Otherwise great stand with no significant complaints.

Holds 15.5" laptop perfectly. Easy to adjust. Stays in position. I liked that it came two allen wrenches to tighten bolts. I add a couple of rubber feet to the top to lift the laptop off the metal plate to get better cooling.

Overall the thing I like most about this stand is that it stays put and feels solid. The adjustment is *very* stiff which makes the stand really stable as far as keeping position/angle. The stand does not change angle over time if you happen to use the keyboard on your laptop, or tap and swipe your tablet all day while it's on the stand. It's a metal stand (metal base, plate, and arms) sturdy and solid enough for the purpose of holding a laptop (or tablet as I do use both on it.) Simple design as well, it does not try to be more fancy or clever than it needs to be. The plate that holds the laptop or tablet can be angled flat, or angled pretty much vertical for tablets. There are four rubber pads on the plate, and two rubber pads on the angled lip at the front. It looks like you would be able to raise the height to about 6 inches, but I've only needed to do about 1/2 of that. I did put my monster 17" laptop on it just to test it (2017 MSI GP72 which is a hair under 6lbs.), and the stand held position easily. I wouldn't personally use a 17" laptop on it, but I could see it working. 17" laptop would stick out a lot on either side, then if the laptop was knocked hard on a side, I could imagine the stand could get off balance. Anything like 15" laptop or smaller, or an iPad Pro will never come close to pushing this stand to its limits, and less likely to get knocked off balance. Overall, I felt it was well worth the money.

Works well. My laptop vents the air out of the bottom of the frame. I wish the stand part had some perforations for improved heat dissipation, but I guess it's no worse than just setting the laptop on a flat desk. There is a bit of clearance for air to flow. The one video showed them folding it flat and packing it for travel, but it was really quick and maybe a bit misleading. This doesn't fold any flatter than maybe 3-4". It came with allen keys to adjust the hinges, but no instructions on why I'd need them. Hopefully they don't sag over time requiring tightening; will update if that changes. You need to apply a bit of force to raise/adjust the stand, so it should stay in position with just the weight of a laptop.

Perfect for function. Holds my laptop very well. You can leave the laptop open as they've advertised but my laptop is 360 foldable so its basically a desktop now ( i had to put a few bulgy stickers to prevent the surface from pressing the laptop keys......very steady . Its also foldable, easy to use and you can adjust height

I purchased this laptop stand for my 17" ASUS laptop that weighs about 3 kg, and had minor concerns that my laptop would weigh too much for this to remain stable. I had no cause for concern. This stand is incredibly sturdy and feels well made from solid aluminum as described. It is able to comfortably hold my laptop even with use of the laptop's keyboard (adding the weight of my hands) with virtually no flex, and can be put at varying heights. Even pushing down on it as a test I can say this would quite easily work for heavier laptops than mine. Although not a complaint of the product, adjusting the height can take a bit of effort due to how sturdy it is. A great product overall!
