Worth the Extra Money
This lift was not the lowest cost lift on Amazon, however, it is worth the extra cash of a comparable unit. The materials used are sturdy for the application. The welds look nice and the paint job was well done. The instructions were good, but the images for how to assemble the few parts could have been a little larger. After taking a little time to handle the parts it was easy to assemble. One previous reviewer mentioned that it took many pumps on the jack to get the arms up. I didn't experience that issue. Having used bottle jacks before, the number of pumps to get the shaft fulling extended was not out of the ordinary. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

If u own equipment, u gotta clean underneath it. Simple as that. Very sturdy. Ordered another as gift to my son.

not safe to work under
What they don't tell you is the lift has to be all the up or the mower you're lifting will slide off the lift. Even though the lift has graduated stops for the safety arms, you can't use them as the lift will lean forward towards the mower, then kick out towards the operator dropping whatever you are lifting hard to the floor.Very unsafe. they don't advertise that the lift must be used all the way up and don't mention it in the instructions. I tried it with the brakes on in the mower and brakes off. The wheel cradles are not adjustable, therefore are always trying to let the mower slide off them. terrible product

Solid works with multiple mowers.
So far it works fine and has a solid build. It would be better if the jack would lift a bit more with each pump. My previous one would lift to position in 5 pumps this takes around 10+.

Puts safety first
This is a great tool. Most importantly it lets you safley access the bottom side of the machine. Has very secure detent stops at various heights, user friendly assembly and setup are very easy. Well worth the money.
