First impressions very bright and look good

I replace two Florescent tubes in my garage with these led light clusters, they made a huge difference They use more electric than the tubes did however they are really worth considering especially if your garage is like mine, a wonderland, of things that I can't find because its too dark or not light enough, depends on your viewpoint. I have found that I no longer spend ages wondering where I put things!! As I can actually see them They are easy to connect if you know enough about house electrics, just isolate the the light circuit and take your time fitting the Eddison fittings you need as well, or wait for a sunny day and switch your electric off before fitting the Eddison light fittings, these are screw fittings these LED fittings will not fit the bayonet type sockets Shouldn't take any longer than 20 minutes if you have the tools you need set aside, usually that will be a flat screw driver or it will be a philips screwdriver and a small screwdriver for the tiny screws in the Edison fitting There is some adjustment on each of the led fittings arms which will allow you to direct the light to where you need it The main arms on the fittings do not rotate nor are the they that adjustable i.e you cannot turn them they will move up and down to a degree If you need more light in your 'Wonderland' then these are the job

I bought a pair of these lights for my workshop/garage in July 2022 and they have been very good for most of that time. They are very bright and flood my single garage with all the light I need . Recently 2 of the LED panels have started to flicker which is a little annoying but they can be isolated. Generally I would recommend them for the price and brightness. Update September 2026 - so just over 4 years after getting 2 of these lights, various panels on both have either completely gone dark or are flickering very badly making them effectively unusable. So for those interested I think it's fair to say the stated 8,000 hours of continuous use claim is slightly exaggerated as I very much doubt these have been turned on for 25% of the time given they are in a garage. So in terms of price per year these 2 lights have cost me about £12, I'll let you decide if they are worth the money.
