300 Hydrofoil

I only have a Yamaha 85Hp but man it really helped with everything they say it will do. I live on the ocean with big waves and it now cuts right through them, faster on plane, higher top speed, and cornering all improved.

Before I have this, I can still get on plane pretty easy with just me and the boat but then I bought this thing and let me tell you you get on plane really fast. Definitely worth the money.

Worth every single penny. We put this on our Yamaha 150, and what a difference. Our boat gets on plane and stays on plane with much less effort. Not only do we get out of the hole faster, but we can now cruise at a lower speed and the boat stays on plane. The first time we took our boat out with this, we were like "why didn't we install this sooner!". We have huge boats on our lake that plow, as well as a lot of wake boats, and it seems like our 21' boat takes the waves much easier as well. More stability overall.

1982 15ft bumblebee bassboat with a 115 Johnson v4 Seahorse outboard. Boat was hard to and slow to plane out. Ordered the Sport 300 and received within 2 days. Took me about 15 minutes to install. I had to drill 4 holes in the outboard plate not the Hydrofoil because the older johnson predrilled holes do not align. Was no big deal at all, but had a question while doing it and contacted the supplier for advise and was told that i should order the non drill adapter which is like $50 more. If you do not want to drill the holes you should order the Sport 400 that is exactly the same but comes with the adapter and is only about $14 more than the Sport 300. Only gave 4 stars because when i called the seller (not Amazon) he did not seem interested at all with helping me with my question about buying the adapter. He simply said it should only be a few bucks for the adapter and informed me that if i opened the package it could not be sent back. Anyway, i drilled the holes and put it on and it made a HUGE difference on how easy the boat planes out, how it turns, how smooth it glides across the water, and i can slow down much smoother now. I am 100% satisfied with the Sport 300. Don't miss my 1996 bassboat i used to have as much anymore. The Sport 300 comes in black, white, and grey. This model is the grey one. SHIPPING WAS CRAZY FAST. The Sport 300 looks awesome and is very well made. 5 Stars for product. 4 Stars for customer service.

The hydrofoil totally transformed my Tracker 175 txw 60 hp mercury. It used to bog down with heavy loads and take 20 plus seconds to plane out. Now it jumps right onto plane with no reduction in top speed. Like a different boat. I am crazy happy with the difference. Would recommend it to anyone with a tracker 175

I run this in a 17.5’ aluminum. It’s got a 115. It gets me on plane at lower RPMs. And holds me there longer in deceleration. Very durable. Install is fairly easy to install. Depends on your model, it may need holes drilled.

Installed on a Mercruiser 5.0 with alpha 1 gen 2 outdrive to solve slow planing. The boat is a 20' Monterey Montura. Plenty of power, but the boat loaded just has a stern heavy situation. I don't allow the kids up front when the boat is on plane and the water is choppy so to the big couch in the back they go, hence the always stern heavy. Boat would plane out nice at 18-20 mph but that's a tad fast for kids learning to knee board etc. With the SE300 it made all the difference in the world. Now it has very little now lift and full plane is achieved at 14-15 MPH. Much more comfortable for everyone in the boat, and I can safely see over the bow while seated. Install is straight forward, follow instructions and center the foil and mark your holes carefully before you drill. I also chamfered the holes once drilled to relieve any chips or micro cracks from drilling. Then treat the holes with self etching primer and small paint brush. I used large area stainless steel washers (not supplied) on the bottom where the hardware contacted the cav plate. This spreads the load of the screw over a larger area and will prevent cracks or damage to the cav plate.

Night and day difference, my boat is heavy with a deep V hull. This foil woke it right up, major difference in time to plane, and some handling improvement. These are going on any of my future boats as well.

I had to remove my propeller in order to install this but it took no time. Note that it comes with two different lengths screws, the long ones for the outside and short for the inside. The hardest part is not having the rubber washers fall as you install it. Using supplied hardware and drill guide made it simple to install. I used a punch to mark the hole locations using supplied template that has markings on it to help you center it. I drilled a pilot hole first and double checked the fit. When it looked fine, I drilled it out further and from there install it was just a bit of a struggle not having the rubber washers slip out of the hardware when you go to place it in place. For sure, getting the boat out of the water faster and I also noticed higher speed so I was able to reduce the RPM. Also seems more stable on the water with less proposing.

Funziona alla grande montata su SUZUKI 40/60 ARI. Ho guadagnato velocità, meno consumi perché riesco a tenere la planata a un minor numero di giri e a prua bassa, trim super preciso con eliminazione di delfinamento. Planata dimezzata, diminuisce la gavitazione. Dal mio punto di vista io la consiglio a tutti, l'unico punto negativo è che bisogna forare la piastra di gavitazione per inbullonarla. Non volendo forare la piastra di gavitazione, si può montare una piastra adattatrice dedicata a questo modello. Che è più sicura del modello Sea sport 400. Perché la piastra specifica per Sea sport 200 e 300 ha una linguetta di fermo di sicurezza per non perderla se si allentano i bulloni, in più c'è la pinna zinco inbullonata sotto la pinna antigavitazione che ne impedisce la perdita.
