I've been using this case for a few weeks now and I'm satisfied thus far. I'll break this down into a few different categories.Setting it up:It's not difficult but requires a little finesse. I've seen reviews where people think it was difficult but I just don't see how. You basically just put your tablet into the plastic shell and then slowly work the rubber housing onto the shell while making sure you align the parts responsible for pushing buttons. It's supposed to be a little snug.Protection:All areas with the exception of the screen have significant protection. The screen will sit recessed by about an 1/8 inch which is fine for dropping on flat surfaces. This does not come with any screen protection besides being recessed but that was actually what I was looking for as I don't want anything coming between this display's magnificence and my eyeballs. The corners have as good of protection as you can possibly get for any case. For the corners to have any more protection than what this case offers, you'd need to duct tape a pillow to your tablet. With that said, it's bulky. Bulky enough to assume someone needs the shoulder strap it comes with for wearing it. I'll never use that thing; it's in the garbage. Thankfully it all still fits in my laptop bag.Kickstand:I can see how some reviews mention this as a detractor.. The stand is indeed a little fragile. I open the stand with two hands ensuring that I don't accidentally beast mode rip it off. The stand is fully open when you hear a 'click' which is a plastic button that is engaged and needs to be gently (but firmly) pressed to release the stand so it can fold in again. The button is stiff to press and it initially gives you that "omg, I'm going to break this ish and write a seething product review devoid of personal accountability" feeling. Pro tip: put the tablet face down on a hard surface and then push that fear enducing button to close the stand. With all that said, I'm finding that the more I use the stand, the easier it's getting. This is just an upfront investment in patience. The stand works best in landscape but is still functional in portrait. The angle that landscape positioning achieves is more suitable for putting on a desk/table and provides a decent angle for use with video calls. Portrait is better suited for following a recipe while I stand over the screen. Portrait is also less stable and I can see myself accidentally tapping too hard on the top half of the tablet causing it to fall backwards. Portrait should only be used on a hard and flat surface; landscape is more forgiving.Stylus holster thing:Meh, I wish it held the pen a little better/more snugly. It's more of a hard silicone pocket that the pen sits in. It will protect the pen from being nudged off the magnetic charging position. Even though I wish it held the pen better, I'll admit that I've not lost my pen ever, so it's fair to say it's doing it's job well.Use of buttons/charging port:Everything is functional and the rubber stopper that reveals the charging port is easy to open and wide enough for a standard usb-c plug. I highly doubt using one of those angled plugs would be compatible with this case.Bottom line:I'd buy it again. It's going to be bulky. The handstrap on the back of the tablet has been a gamechanger and makes the overall use of the tablet much more enjoyable.

This case is sturdy, and the strap makes the large tablet easy to hold when reading. It was easy to put on. It even came with a tool that helped a great deal. I would highly recommend this case to anyone.

I've bought a few Braecn tablet cases in the past so I had pretty good idea of the quality I was going to get. They were all for 10.1 inch or smaller screens so the handstrap on the back wasn't anywhere near as important as it is on this tablet with its 12.4" screen. I'd used it occasionally in the past but on this monster it's absolutely required. Build quality and easy of install were A+

I've went through two other covers in less than a year. This is a little harder to get on, but well worth it. Very protective rubber surround. I really like the hand strap in the back. The strap makes it easy to handle in any position. Love it!!! Highly recommend!

I love my new Samsung tablet but it's 12.4" and so hard to hang onto without getting finger and hand smudges all over. I slip my hand into the strap on the back, and other than tapping the screen, don't have to touch it. The strap is attached to a rotating surface so I can rotate the screen however I like. The stylus fits into it's holder on the back and doesn't fall out. Very pleased with this purchase.

The hand strap interferes with the kickstand and it just kind of all sucks. However it does offer excellent protection for a rather large and kind of heavy tablet. I've dropped it on concrete a number of times with no damage....You can't have this tablet without some kind of shock protection....

Saved my tablet many times. Gave me more opportunities to use it and gave me peace of mind.Eventually the moving parts failed, but it was so good I bought the updated one from the same company, Braecn.The moving parts are to do with the kickstand at the rear.The original was great. The updated version tries to correct or improve upon those and some other weak points.1) no more kickstand lock button. Now it is all spring loaded.2) the clips that hold the case closed are wider, less fiddly.3) think the metal hinge is thicker.Only had it for less than an hour but I can immediately appreciate the improvements Braecn has incorporated.
