I like to put enamel pins on things like purses, jackets, tote bags and more. I've lost some pins in the past just using the simple clasp. Once I got these locking pin backs, I never had a problem again. I put pins all over many items that get a lot of use and really, that is part of the fun of collecting them...getting to display them somewhere besides, only on a banner, in the house. They are difficult to open and remove the back once on, with my arthritis. So my husband does that part when I move them around. They also take up a bit of space for the back, like a quarter of an inch. So, if you are placing them on something where that would be an issue, they may not be the best option. I love them. I've bought several boxes and will always use them as I regret losing irreplaceable pins, before finding these backs.

I have lost so many is those pin backs. I was told about these locking one's and let me tell you they work. No more falling off and losing my pins!

They seem to be of good quality and “lock” strongly. Very satisfied!
