Great set. Works for beginners.

For years i have been seeking a cartridge fed fountain pen that is comfortable for everyday use. You know how most skip and get blotchy on the upward stroke? That has been my main frustration. This pen, with the finest nib attached, does not seem to have that problem. Now I have an everyday use pen I love.The other nibs are fine for basic calligraphy, presentation writing, or creating a fancy signature you can use with docusign or Adobe sign & fill. The instructions are clear and simple. The exercise booklet is just lettering practice pages. They are all well and good but I actually bought the set for the everyday pen and I could not be more pleased.I will definitely consider higher end writing instruments from this company.

Nice set of pens and ink to get started with. The instructions were virtually non existent so I've been watching YouTube videos. Comes with a blank lined practice notebook

I recently started doing calligraphy again. I purchased these for practice and the pen quality is good. Would be a great gift for a beginner or if you are rusty and want to start writing again. Value for the money is on spot too.

There is an 'instruction booklet' of sorts, which consists of 2 pages in each of the 4 European languages.But those instructions are quite light (as one might imagine with only 2 pages devoted).For example, put the ink cartridge into the pen is pretty obvious, but how does one get the ink to begin flowing - put it into a medical centrifuge? It doesn't happen by magic.There are videos, but as someone who has been watching videos since the 1950s, before a video is halfway through, I've forgotten the first half.If only there was someone with a PEN that knew how to WRITE an actual comprehensive manual.I entertain myself by thinking of the mind-set of someone in the PEN business who fails to think of such a radical concept as a WRITTEN MANUAL.
