Uncomfortable for day to day usage
I've used these knee pads a fair few times as a professional floor layer these knee pads are amazing when you first put them on but, after an hour or so the straps really cut in to the back of the leg the inserted knee pads are great but these are just way too uncomfortable to use if your going to get a pair of knee pads i recommend sweeney Todd foam pads or if you are going to yse them for long periods of time day in day out buy fento 200 pros by far the best knee pads on the market they're pricey but ive had mine now for about a month and have noticed a massive difference in the fact that i dont suffer with half as much lower back pain.

Bulky, heavy and slips down your leg
Used there insert version for a long time and they are quite weighty but offer amazing cushioning. So thought I’d give these a go for shorts weather. They are absolutely huge in length and very bulky. After being ridiculed on site it made me want to wear them more. I found they kept sliding down my leg after a while your legs start to sweat by the straps and they quite heavy. Cushioning great as expected but personally I wouldn’t buy them again I’ve worn them once and they will probably sit in the back of the van.

Very uncomfortable
First of all, let me say I'm a floorlayer. I spend a lot of time on my knees so comfort is a very big factor when it comes to kneepads.I chose these instead of replacing my worn out Sweeney Todd neoprene pads (with the single large velcro strap that went over the upper calf).Good points:-The actual insert is comfortable and provides comfortable cushioning for your knees.Bad points:-The straps are over complicated. Both straps feed through a buckle then double back on themselves to fasten. This is much more time consuming than the pads I'm used to.-The straps pinch, I've worn them with shorts and trousers, had them both loose, tight, high and low, yet now matter how I wear them, the straps pinch the back of my knees. Very uncomfortable.-Cumbersome. When walking around with these on you're very aware of how big they are. Normally I would just take them off until I needed to be back on my knees again, but the fiddly nature of the straps discouraged me from doing that.Overall, I really can't recommend these for anybody who works on their knees a lot. I have personally taken the inserts out to use in my trousers and have thrown away the strapped pockets as there is no way I'd subject myself to that discomfort again.

Best knee pads ever – definitely 5*!
I’ve tried all makes with no luck – just pain and a load of complaints. I bought these because they are different and for once I have been able to work without my knee problem flaring up. I have had these knee pads for two weeks and have worked all day, all week rather than having to work in short bursts then stopping to give my painful knees a rest. I like that the knee pads are left and right handed and the fastening don’t catch on anything. Also the more I have worn them the more they have bedded in. Good strong quality and hasn’t marked surfaces – which is an issue in my work – have also been through the wash twice with no probs. Usually the straps add to the punishment but these are definitely comfortable and I couldn’t notice they were there. They didn’t pinch, fold or bunch up behind my knees and for once they stayed in place as I worked – none of the usual swivelling, shifting or getting numb legs. Keepers - best knee pads ever.

Well made
I have used these while a laying a floor and i must say they are very easy on the knees. I had a set of Dewalt Knee pads but they were hard to ware...the straps kept slipping and if you pulled them tight you cut off the blood to your lower legs...these knee pads are expensive but i think health comes first.R ClarkeUpdate...now I have been using them a lot, I find that they can slip to one side of the leg.. for the price I think that should not happen

The best knee pads in the world
The best knee pads in the world, seriously I am not just saying this I have tried a good number and they are by far the best, they stay on very well and are very extremely comfortable. The double strap combined with the flexible tabs above and below the pad means once they are on they are on and they don't move, unlike many other pads I have used over the years. Sure they are expensive compared to others, but worth every penny. If you want to take them on and off a lot I could see this would be a pain, but why would you, I my experience you want to put them on and keep them on and they do this very well. The padding is very good it is a honey comb and is very think and very comfortable. Don't compromise but the best.

Floating on air.
Just bought these - and now they already have pride of place in my decorator's tool box. They slightly raise you up off the floor, which makes them really comfortable as you are not leaning forwards. No pinching of the straps, and no pressure on my knees, I used them for a long time without discomfort. Used them on carpet and tiling, for floor tiling, skirting boards and working low down on walls. With other knee pads you sink down towards the ground and that makes the pain of kneeling on a hard surface feel worse - with these you keep off the ground and the soft face helps you keep your balance, so much so that you feel like you are floating on air.The best knee pad I've used - for both comfort and value for money. As the product description says "They look after your knees", which is what I want. Recommended.
