Fine Décor FD41965 Quartz Damask Wallpaper, Silver

The print is absoloutly beautiful I love the damask style, the background looks almost like a chenille fabric, it's an absoloute pain in the bum to hang I'm not a decorator but have always done my own diy it wasn't hard to put up but you have to be very careful as it will tear easily, do not use a wallpaper smoothing tool as the print is partially 3d and will destroy it I used a cloth to push out any air bubbles it does take a bit more time then hanging normal wallpaper but it's worth it in the end, I always paste my wall first then paste the paper, this paper doesn't shrink so just line it up as you want it to look once dried and make your paste much thicker then normal I have hung vinyl textured paper once and I hated the process so was a bit devastated once this arrived as I hadn't read the description just looked at the paper but I don't regret it at all and would defonatly use this again. I also recommend making sure your walls are fully prepped and smooth beforehand as i think this would show imperfections or possibly tear when smoothing out, use a very sharp snap off blade and snap off a new bit every few cuts, go slowly, you can use a ruler or any straight edge to help stop snagging but using a fresh blade often is key to a clean cut! Also i did this whilst 8 months pregnant by myself if i can do it YOU can too! Happy decorating i Highly recommend 👌

So.. I was looking for a wallpaper for more then 2m and no success..In my room is usually dark so I did not want it more but this wallpaper brings light !!!So happy with the quality... especially because a normal price for this type of wallpaper is £20.. But I buy it with £12 sooooo it was perfect. It does not need to much glue on it.. It sticks very quick aaaaand is not so difficult to put it.Also.. the color is the between white and grey so very light.Soo soo happy with the product and to be honest I was afraid to purchase from Amazon because I was not able to have a better look on it but I don't regret it.Again.. Very elegant and also with a huge quality that I did not expect because is cheap.Strongly recommended.

DELIVERY: The product arrived next day and delivery was accurately tracked on the amazon app.PACKAGING: The product was packaged securely in a cardboard box with enough padding material to ensure the product is not damaged during transit. The wallpaper itself was packaged in a plastic cover which protects it further from any moisture getting in.PRODUCT:PROS - Wife and I love this wallpaper, we have used it in the living room and kitchen. It feels really good to the touch and has stuck to the wall excellently. The silver decorative element looks brillint in coloured led lighting, highlighting the features in the wall paper. We have also stuck on wire covers on this wallpaper which has taken really well. Each roll consisted of around 8 ceiling to floor strips (does depend on on off cuts etc). Using it in the kitchen we were initially concerned about moisture and damp but no issues have arisen and the wallpaper has remained bone dry.CONS - No real cons. Just wish wall paper manufaturers would sell the exact lengths you need but I guess its an industry issue.VALUE: I had visited a number of stores looking for similar wallpapers but the price was much greater. So price has to be a win for me.VERDICT: It is of course dependent on style but if you are looking for a modern, neutral coloured theme for your room this wallpaper will go great with it!

This is good quality thick wallpaper . However when it was up I noticed the pattern is very subtle and can only be seen properly when the light is on it . Nothing at all wrong with the paper I just normally prefer a bolder print that can be well seen . I’m not the best wallpaperer but this went up easy and matched well . Overall quite pleased with the result but wish I had picked a bolder pattern , just my own preference.

I have searched every website for the perfect grey damask wallpaper, this one I am in love with now it’s up!! Not too dark, not too light. Went on like an absolute dream, not much waste I got 4 strips out of 1 roll. Really has made the difference to my front room adding this. Really brightened it up too and it was a brick wallpaper before. I would highly recommended this to anyone after a grey damask wallpaper. My walls were not in the best condition no idea why due to previous tenants but it had no impact on the wallpaper sticking etc.

I was a little worried about buying wallpaper online, but as I couldn't find anything in the shops I took the plunge! I am so pleased with this paper. The quality is excellent and I'm really pleased with the finished results! I over ordered but there was no problem returning the unopened rolls. *****

When I first saw the rolls in the box and I looked at one I was like “eurghhh no, don’t like it “ decided to hang 2 strips to see and it looked a lot better up. Daytime looks a pale grey , night time it’s a darker grey but that’s when the metallic part really shows.Had a spare roll so even did a small wall in the hall 😁
