Very lightweight and comfortable. There was really no need for a breaking period. I'm 63 years old and I do a lot of hiking in the Appalachia foothills in Ohio.I also do a lot of hiking in the swampy woods of Michigan and I don't get the hard shock to my knees with these boots. And I have less fatigue now.

These boots are awesome and comfortable work boots for those who are not needing steel toes. I work a mission in Honduras every summer and absolutely love these boots.

I bought these to "preserve" my more expensive boots and wear these to the field and on a recent deployment. They fit well and were comfortable overall and stood up well to abuse. My only critique would be that the height of the boot is about 1/2 inch shorter than my other set, so re-blousing my OCPs was necessary at times. The manufacturers logo is somewhat prominent at the rear of the boot, but did rise ire/wrath of my CSM ;-)

Not much into reviewing, like reading, not writing. But, had to say a little about this boots. I have had these a month away from a year, and they held up excellent. When I first received them, they were so stiff and uncomfortable, I was thinking about returning them, glad I did not. Once broken in, they are light and hold up great. I would buy another if the price was back down to the price when I purchased.

Got these for my son. They look to be well built, light, and seem like they will breath well. They do not have a zipper which is something we were wanting the boot not to have. He says they are comfortable out of the box, they fit well, and should keep his feet fairly dry as long as he doesn't jump into a 6" puddle. If they fall apart I will be sure to update this. He is going to military school so they will be tested thoroughly.

These boots are amazing and have great support in the arch.I recommend this product.

I really like these boots. Light, cool, out of the box comfortable, what is not to like?They are not waterproof. But they do not claim to be. They have multiple ventilation holes, how could anyone expect them to be waterproof?As for size? I wear a 9.5. I ordered a 9.5. I received a 9.5. The 9.5 fit. They are true to stated size for me.

I think they could be slightly lower on the price. The rear ankle support doesn't seem like it will last. It's a plastic piece that should be larger or more padded cause it does seem like it might cut threw like another review I saw.Otherwise they are stylish being a girl they look good with skinny jeans. I wouldn't say they aren't hiking far quality. If they redesign that rear ankle they will be slightly more comfortable and durable. Some more vent to breath would be nice too.I sprayed mine with some crep waterproofing and scuff proofing.
