Should I get the small size instead?** A: the way the cup is designed that it doesnt have much of a lip on it an is a vertical surface, as well as the size of it and having had cockateil's before i don't think that she will be able to get inside it and sit on the dish. My parakeets i doubt could sit in this very easily, so i'm pretty sure it will work well for your cockatiel in size and function. I turn it to dump them, and since the heavier seeds are in the colored base, they don't get dumped.
