I have been using smaller hand-held magnifiers with handles and lights, but decided to try this one. It is excellet. It is much larger than the multiple magnifiers I have been using. The large size makes it much easier to use for reading newspapers and books. Eveh though it is large, it is light, much lighter than the smaller glass magnifiers I have been using. As much as I like glass in principle, in practice the plastic in this device is much better than glass for a hand-held magnifier of this size; if it were glass, it would be too heavy to comfortably hold. Other nice features: good illunimation (though I wish it had more levels of brightness), adjustable-angle handle, and 5x magnification (which is better for me than the 3x I have been using until now on other magnifiers). I wish this magnifier were rechargeable and not require changing batters, but overall the magnifier is excellent.

This is a great product. It really lights up and magnify s great.

It works great. I thought it would be too much light because of my sensitivity to light but the yellow light works well. And I can turn the brighter light just to read fine print on bottles.

We thought it was rechargeable but it requires batteries. As a result we got a rechargeable one and donated this one to the Salvation Army’s thrift store. We hope someone gets good use from it as it does magnify wonderfully.

Item was purchased as a gift for an elderly lady with extremely poor vision. SHE LOVES IT! She is now able to read her Bible and other documents with ease!

Make sure to use rechargeable batteries cuz the lights go out super quick with alkaline batteries.

This is a very useful product. It relieves your hands while you work or play on thr iPhone or iPad or whatever brands you have.

This has been a life saver. My young reader needed the magnification in order to read the small font in Charlotte’s Web.

Fantastic product. I bought it for my Mum so she can read, and it worked as soon as I installed the batteries and touched the power button. The LED lights are nice and clear, and the different brightness levels are decent as well. I highly recommend this.

Pleased with it. Needs 3 x AAA batteries for the light which do not come with it. Great product for the money but it is plastic not glass.
