I was thrust into 24/7 caregiver for my mother and had to learn lots quick. The bedside commode liners are a must, and after several brands with the little pads, I discovered the gelling powder. It's magic. It's instant, just half a capful will take care of what used to be a sloshy bag. Nothing, just a blob of stuff, it's legal to dispose of in the waste pickup, and there's NO ODOR. I could try other brands, but why? As long as this is available and economical, I'm using it.

Works well for portable toilet. The overall qualty of the material makes liquid more manageable once thicker. I prefer over the single use packets. Less waste. And smaller container easy to keep with setup.

We were doing a day-camp trip. This was the first year I brought along a pop-up toilet and changing tent, a 5-gallon plastic bucket and a toilet seat that attached to the bucket. I bought both products off Amazon (anngrowy shower tent pop-up and 72HRS toilet seat). I didn't want to use the public toilets to change or do #1 or go into the ocean to pee, so I purchased this. I was doing some research on using either clumping kitty litter (too expensive, too heavy), or absorbent pads (too smelly), or pine shavings (takes up too much space). I saw a Youtuber using a capful of this product so I purchased this and I tested it out before taking it to the camping trip and it worked very well! I lined the 5-gallon bucket with thick plastic garbage bag, put a capful of this stuff inside, and placed the toilet seat cover over the bucket and tried it out for two days, no smell at all! Clean up is a breeze as it gels up the pee and all you do is tie up the garbage bag and throw it away. I am very happy that we purchased this, will use this at every camping trip!

This powder works great to gel the waste. It reduces smell and spills.

I really wish I could give this 5 stars, however, I really can't because the price is just too expensive. The product itself does work great. It really does turn liquid waste into gel. My in-laws use it in their bedside commode.The Good - It gels up nicely and makes clean up simple and easy. Just wait for the stuff to gel up, tie up the commode liner and toss it in the trash. I recommend using these in tandem with absorbent gel pads, especially when the commode is used more than once before emptying.The Bad - The price is way too much for the amount that you get. Almost $30 for 2 pounds, I would expect to pay that for 3 pounds, but not 2.Oh well, considering it is a really good product, the best I've tried so far, I will continue to buy it. But I'll still grumble about the price. If the price isn't a big deal for you, then definitely buy this stuff.

I use this in a portable toilet in remote camping situations. I sprinkle a cap full each time i use the facilities and it works great. It absorbs all the moisture and keeps the smells at bay. Overall this has worked great for me on multiple camping trips. Highly Recommended!

Ok, so we have raccoons. Raccoons will defecate in what are termed latrine. Said latrine could be a spot in your yard, coon will use it over and over. Well. We had an used fountain... I didn't realize it until after we had a torrential rain storm and now it's liquidated. So I thought of a dehydrator and came across this stuff. It works!! It solidified it enough for me to scoop it out (yes, wore protective gear head to toe) & put into the trash. And yes, the fountain is dismantled lol.

Haven't tried yet, the box packaging was fine, the product itself was open and unsealed upon arrival and everywhere in the box.
