Sturdy, shiny, does the job.

This toilet paper stand has nice clean lines and has a heavy, sturdy base. It was quick and easy to assemble the three pieces. I like that this isn't a tall stand and isn't tippy. The bottom of a roll of Costco toilet paper, when loaded on the stand, doesn't quite clear the top of the seat lid on a chair height toilet.

The Gatco 1435C Standing Tissue Holder really makes a plain bathroom look fancy!.We replaced our toilet with another that was higher, so the tissue dispenser was too close to use. This tissue holder is the perfect height in front of you or to the side. That's another plus being able to move it whenever you want to. I was concerned the tissue itself would fly off each time it spun but it stays on great. It's as if it had an end of it, I guess that's why they made the little upturn on the end. I was also concerned about it tipping over but the weight holds in place really well. I've had it for 2 months now & I don't have any complaints. I am very pleased with the appearance of this product as well as its form & function. I also bought the Gatco 4051 Elevate Towel bar & they look really good together.

Looks great, very easy to put together. Wish it was a little heavier in the base, but so far has not fallen over with use.

Free-standing toilet roll holder is very practical and elegant at the same time. Highly recommend.

Sturdy and simple assembly!

Product works great. Heavy enough base to keep it steady (unless you pull paper like a crazed slot-machine player!). Bought it because my remodel moved my toilet around and I did not have room for a combo roll-holder/grab-bar I was eyeing. I had to scramble for a free-standing chrome solution and this one stood out. We use big rolls and I did not want to have to unscrew things to replace the rolls. This product allows one to replace the toilet paper easily by slipping the rolls in and out. Moreover, the roll stays on and does not slide off when pulled because of the bend at the end of the roll bar. Great elegant design, not too tall.

My previous toilet paper holder wasn't cheap, but the brushed nickle finish rusted at the base anyway, so I ordered this Gatco holder. It looks expensive, and it doesn't look like rust will be an issue. It holds jumbo rolls, and replacing rolls is easy. They also don't come off unless you want them to. My old holder was 28" tall and and I was afraid this Gatco one would be too short. I was always knocking the old one over, thinking it just wasn't in a good place, but there is no other place to put a holder and the toilet is too close to the wall to have a wall mounted holder on the right side. I was just waiting for the old one to crack the floor tile when it fell. Now that I have this Gatco one which is about 24" high, I realize that the whole reason I kept knocking the other one over was that it was too tall! This TP holder is the prefect size, not too short or too tall, and it hasn't been knocked over once!! The base is a nice weight and also keeps the holder from wobbling or tipping. Great purchase!
