Perfect herb garden
Overall I really like this thing. Mostly pros with a couple of minor cons. So it's a tongue and groove kind of setup which I was pretty excited about because it's a LOT easier to put together that way. However a couple of the grooves and tongues were a little off so they didn't simply slide together easily like they were supposed to. I had to POUND them in place with a block of wood and a hammer, but once they went in they stayed very well and now it's really solid. I like the wood a lot and the 4 fence/trellises that came with it are great also. I'm not using them in our current setup but I saved them because they will be VERY useful in some other way in my yard. I'm using it for an herb garden and it's PERFECT for that. Another reviewer mentioned that it's bottomless and that is true, but for my purposes that didn't matter. You can also use weed barrier fabric on the bottom if you're concerned about weeds coming through. That's what I did and so far so good. I also like the caps on the corners to cover up the joints and it gives a nice finished look. Overall it's very pretty and is a nice focal point/functional garden bed!

It goes together as easily as described! I am 72 and female. Not a problem!
The reviews mentioned the open to ground and for me this was no problem but those that are in apts and/or patios…. There is no bottom so drainage could be an issue. I set up in my grow area and it is perfect! I love the fences because we have a family of raccoons who visit often on my Ring video! I am anxious to plant my tomatoes and pepper plants. Will send pics. Very excited!

It has started warping.
The extra Rain and extra heat we have had has made it swell and dry quicker than I would expect so I would blame weather more than quality. It is very nice looking and I really love the extra fence panels! It was a little hard to put together but if I had put it together on the table I think it would have been better.

I think it will work for us!
The first thing that struck me when I opened up the box containing this Jumbl Raised Canadian Cedar Garden Bed was the wonderful aroma of cedar. The next thing I noticed is that the quality of the wood was pretty good. There were a few spots with minor voids in the wood, but they were filled in with wood filler so they weren't very noticeable, and I was for the most part able to let those face IN. The planks used in the sidewalls were made with shorter pieces of cedar finger-jointed together. They look very nice, though, and being made of cedar they are naturally resistant to bugs and decay.I ordered this item to use in a new (and to start, small) vegetable garden using garden bags. My wife and I originally didn't envision placing the bags IN another structure, but when I saw this garden planter the plans seemed to just come together in my head. It appears that it is the solution to one concern I had regarding making sure that the rabbits that frequent our yard don't get to our lettuce before we do, and I think the use of this planter will help in that regard. I don't know if the rabbits can climb or jump over the not-too-tall walls in this bed, but I'm pretty sure they would have a hard time getting over the inner wire-mesh screening on all four sides, even though there are gaps at the corners. To further protect our precious small crop, I placed a 2X4 foot layer of plastic decking tiles under the bed, so I'm pretty sure the rabbits won't be able to easily work their way up through those, even if they tried to tunnel in.The metal mesh walls are made with a cedar frame, and pointed stakes protrude down past the frame at all eight corners. What I did was place the outer structure on the plastic deck tiles, then held up all the meshed walls one at a time while I traced around the stakes with marker, then removed the inner and outer walls and cut through the tiles with an oscillating multi-tool. They came out great, and once put all together the stakes pefectly fit through the holes I cut out and sunk into the soil beneath. The final construction is solid and strong, and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The planter comes minimally assembled, with the remainder of assembly to be done by the owner. It really couldn't be much easier, though, with no fasteners or glue of any kind needed to put the parts together. They all slid together easily with the factory milled dovetail joints. The steel-meshed walls come pre-assembled, and I was very glad about that because I wouldn't have wanted to fasten all the mesh to the frame assemblies! Of course, there is an assembly manual included, but to be honest I don't think I even referred to them as it was pretty clear from just looking at the components how they all fit together. My wife and I are both very pleased with this planter. So now that the location of the bed has been prepared, weed-control landscaping fabric has been laid to help prevent weeds from growing, the planter box is assembled and in place; all we need to do now is fill the bags, place them in the box, and watch our veggies grow!

Nice, but a little pricey
Pretty easy to assemble, just don't get the corner posts upside down or the corner caps won't go on. The side slat "tongues" are angle-cut to match the grooves in the corner posts so it all goes together without fasteners. Corner posts are grooved on all 4 sides so you can attach multiple sets together if you'd like a larger raised garden.
