It's good to get hominy grits
I have been looking for Hominy Grits, but everything I can buy locally is labels quick grits, or old fashioned grits or instant grits. Quaker used to sell Hominy grits, but I can't find them now. Nothing says it is made from hominy. I am glad to get this.

Finely ground white grits suit your table for any meal.
When you are a Southern Belle-your taste buds crave grits often. Have tried yellow, other known white brands and they have rough textures. These GRITS are wonderfully fine-smooth and are great with cheese and real butter. They go a long way due to the ratio of water to grits. Hats off to finally finding "good grits". Will reorder!

Brand
This is the only brand I really like. Grew up with them as a child, they are readily available in California. I've retired to Arizona, they are no where to be found . This is a regular recurring order .

Alber's Grits to the Rescue!
As usual Alber's products never fail me. I moved from California to the Midwest 2yrs ago. I was dissapointed to find no stores carried my lifelong growing up Alber's products. Thanks Amazon you saved my life.

Best instant grits ever!
I took a chance ordering this and got lucky. I live in Tennessee where stone ground grits are available, but they take 40 minutes to cook and they are very heavy. The instant grits are lighter, but the Albers doesn't have that "instant grits" taste. Believe it or not, I had some friends visit from Australia and they said they loved the grits and that's what they missed a lot about Tennessee. Now they are in France and they MADE me order a box of Albers grits and send it to them overseas! That's a pretty good recommendation. I like Albers grits with salt and butter. We southerners also like to mix in our fried eggs and bacon sometimes. My Australian friends who are now in France told me they like Albans grits with honey and bananas. Of course, I don't speak to them any more now. :-)
