I used to own this book, and it is an interesting and beautiful book. This one, however, is tiny, and the photographs are all very low quality black and white prints. Even the printed pages themselves are very low quality a shade of grey instead of white. There is no way I will be wasting my time looking at so poor quality a book.

Slightly ripped dust cover and a slightly later edition than the one advertised. Having said that it was a full colour hardback original of an increasingly rare book. I could have paid alot more for the same copy.

Not reviwing the book content, but the way it was printed.It's substantially a print of scanned pages of a previous edition.The book cover is nice, but the reading experience suffers from the bad xeroxing.Furthermore, worse than xeroxing, is the wrong disposition of pages: there are comments mentioning "images on the left", probably because in tge the original work they were on the left. In this edition they are actually in the previous page. Same for images on the next page mentioned as "on the right".A bit more careful work would have resulted into a more pleasant reading.Luckily the content of the books is extremely interesting and overcomes those glitches.

The book is simply a photocopy of a previous edition. What's more, the photocopy does not line up meaning references within the book (that would normally be part of a center spread of images) are placed across two pages. The work itself is amazing, just disappointed at the laziness of production.
