the most small , clever 1/4" drive ratchet ! will get in tight spaces
an excellent product very tiny ! My smallest ratchet ! usefull in tight spaces! I wish it was a dedicated 1/4 ratchet drive ONLY ! and or came w/a short 1/4" drive adaptor ! DO : send me one free! I will revise the review! the adaptor i have sticks out a bit (see? ) will have it cut down! that is a regular 10MM 1/4 drive socket for scale !

Super tiny. Fits in small spaces. Smooth.
I love this little ratchet. I install alarm systems for work which sometimes includes home automation equipment, such as automated door locks. Sometimes devices are installed next to or above other items like thermostats or door molding, making it impossible to use a standard screw driver to tighten screws. . That's where this guy comes in. The head less than a half inch thick, and with a stubby driver bit it can easily get into tight spaces and the ratchet makes it a lot easier to tighten than a fixed driver that has to be removed and re-aligned with the screw head for every partial turn. Also the ratchet mechanism is very smooth and strong. The end being able to accept a bit or bit holder makes it much easier to hold and use as well. My only issue is how slippery the handle is. It's smooth chrome and especially difficult to hold get a grip on, being so small. I solved this by putting a layer of Sugru on it, which can also be bought on Amazon.

Perfect Size for an EDC Kit
I bought this because of the size. I need this for a very small EDC kit I carry in a small cross body bag. I paired it with a small set of sockets and extensions and it made a great kit. The handle is very short but placing an extension in it makes the handle just perfect. Really happy with this purchase.

Extremely light but sturdy.
Awesome little tool. Hardly notice it's there, but it is handy to have around.

Awesome ratchet!
I have been searching for a stubby version of these little ratchets for a long time, they're super handy. The company had the version that fits in a leatherman for a while, but I'm very glad the company started producing the one with the bit holder! It's innovative and a great addition to a keychain. Will drive 3" wood screws without a pilot hole into softwood 2x4 as a reference (not that you should, but it holds up) Cons: 1. Can be very slippery due to their small size and the chrome/nickel plating. This wasn't a huge deal for the leatherman versions because they're designed to use the leatherman as the handle, but since this one is more stand alone oriented future versions would definitely benefit from knurling at minimum, perhaps even alternative finish options that are less prone to being slick (matte, stonewash, black oxide, etc). Mitigations: Works great paired with a little bit extender which can be used for more reach or leverage. Additionally, I added marine heat shrink tubing (the kind with adhesive) to mine which helps a lot, and I am using a small aluminum oval carabiner through the ratchet hole to attach it to my keys which I can use like a T-Shank handle. 2. The bit holder on all of these style of mini ratchet wrenches tend to be pretty shallow. They work fine for regular bits, but aren't deep enough for most double ended bits or flat leatherman bits. Future versions with a somewhat deeper bit holder (think leatherman extension bit holder depth) would be great and only add a fraction to the overall length. Mitigation: In the meantime, I found that the Steinwhale stubby double ended bits fit perfectly, like they belonged together! Now I can carry a #2 phillips and flat bit on the tool all the time. Overall, the company is innovative and responsive, I highly recommend this ratchet if you're looking for something small enough to carry on a keychain or for mini kits!

Great tiny ratchet
I'm an EDC nerd. I was putting together a tool kit to take on a work trip. I didn't think I'd need all that many tools, but just in case I picked up this ratchet. I love this thing. It's barely bigger than a key, so fits on my key ring just fine with a Phillips bit in it. I was also surprised to find that they designed the ratchet to work with the Leatherman flat bits. A great addition to anyone's EDC kit.

Works well
It works really well, handles a lot more torque than I expected out of such a small rachet. This is the second one I've bought, because I lost the first. Works great for the hard to reach torx bolts on early 2000's ford trucks automatic transmission shift tube.

Less is more and this mini ratchet is no exception.
Size doesn't matter...Great little ratchet. This is so small that it fits right in my VIPERADE VE1 EDC Tool Pocket Organizer with the "frequently purchased together" Steinwhale 10in1 Short Stubby Mini Screwdriver and also my Gerber Gear Armbar Slim Drive. Now I feel like my EDC toolkit is complete. It came in a nice metal box with foam insert to shape of ratchet. No bit included which is NOT a problem. Zero defects on the tool itself and just a small defect on the case to the top right of the "L" in the last picture. (Assuming they are in the order I uploaded them) You'd likely need to zoom in to see it. I like defect free products, cases include, but this is so minor I don't mind and still give it 5 stars. I'd only mention one thing. The Steinwhale bits I mention above are great but are a little sticky when first inserting into the ratchet. At first one bit only went in part way but when reversed fit fine. Then I tried another bit which sank TOO far into the ratchet and the clip on the ratchet head was keeping it from coming back out. No amount of pulling or pushing made it come free and even refused to budge when I begrudgingly grabbed the bit with plyers. In the end I had to remove the clip which wasn't exactly easy to get back on for the bit to slide out. Maybe this is a problem that will disappear in time as I use it more but I just want to emphasize these Steinwhale bits aren't made specifically for the ratchet and may become stuck. This obviously isn't the fault of either company but I want to be transparent that these bits may become stuck in the ratchet requiring some effort to remove. Aside from that it's a great product and I'd buy this again if ever lost or as a gift. Shipped on time.
