This is my first drone. The day it arrived the weather was pretty windy but I was so excited I took it out anyway. (The video I attached was taken on a breezy day that’s why it’s a little bouncy. But you get the idea). I’m amazed how well it flew in the windy weather. The GPS system keeps it where it belongs. The camera is beautiful, the app is really user friendly, the features work really well. The waypoint flight path is terrific. All in all I’m super happy with this drone and I’m having lots of fun with it. Tonight I put it in sport mode for the first time just to buzz around my place and that was really fun. In calm weather the batteries last for a long time - it just keeps flying and flying. I love that before I put a memory card in it, it would simply save photos and videos right on my phone as I took them. Super cool feature. The one downside I’ve run into is that the remote control is losing signal to the drone quite frequently, and I’ve not yet been able to fly it more than about 300 feet away before losing remote control contact, and sometimes contact gets lost less than 200’ away, even flying over my hayfield. If I fly it from my phone controls it reaches a bit further. When contact is broken, the drone stops and returns to its takeoff point, which is pretty nice, but it does seem to spend a lot of time returning home! I’ve been working with customer service to figure this out and I have to say, they’ve been really great to work with, and I’ll certainly update this review when we figure out what’s going on. Update: it’s a bit sensitive to any obstacles, and the remote antenna needs to be aimed in the right direction. Flying with the phone controls gives a much greater range, though it’s a little harder than using the joystick. If all is clear I can fly out about 700’ before losing contact. This drone is for real. I’m happy with it, and if the remote range gets straightened out I don’t think I could possibly be happier. I have to say it’s a tough little dude too. I wish I could say I’m an excellent and safe pilot but that wouldn’t be quite true. I’ve brushed the side of my house, stuck it in a tree, and in a particularly dumb moment tried to land it on the roof of the barn, only to have it slide off to the ground. But it just keeps flying. No crashes have ever been the drone’s fault, they’re me taking silly chances. Boys will be boys, and play rough with their toys.

I can't honestly compare this to anything. It is my first drone. I have been flying radio controlled airplanes since the 80s so I wasn't sure I could even fly one. But this is the easiest thing I have ever put into the air. And although I haven't used all the features. It seems to be everything they say it is. And their support is the best. I opened the box and charged batteries and controller. And started getting familiar with the manual. Downloaded the app. The drone and the controller linked right up. The hardest part of the set up is figuring out the wifi. Once the drone is linked you have to open your WiFi on your phone and connect to the drones wifi. My phone hooked right to it. But I have read that some may need to put phone in airplane mode. Once connected to the wifi. You open the app and calibrate the GPS, attitude and the gyros. Easy peazy. Outdoor flying is easy and the drone hovers very well even in "breezy" conditions. Now "indoor" flight is a little more tricky. And in GPS mode it is sketchy for a new pilot and the drone doesn't handle the same. It really needs to be put into "attitude" mode. Here's the rub. As long as it can connect to GPS. It can't be easily changed to attitude mode for indoor flight. I had to build a box with signal blocking fabric to utilize "attitude" mode. And man what a difference ease of flight was in the house...Which I feel is the only CON or complaint I have with the drone. I think it should be able to be turned off and on without a hassle. I would absolutely buy another and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great beginner drone....I shouldn't even say "beginner" drone because I think even an experienced pilot would appreciate it. As experienced pilots, we were seeking a more affordable drone to bring along on trips, reserving our DJI models for professional use. However, right out of the box, something felt off. We performed the recommended pre-flight checks, and took off, but within the first two minutes, the drone started behaving erratically. Without any input from the remote, it couldn’t stay stable, drifting about two feet in 5 mph winds, then suddenly shooting up 15-20 feet and emitting beeping sounds. We had to immediately initiate Return to Home (RTH), but the drone struggled throughout the process—moving up, pausing, then descending, and repeating this cycle, all without any control from us. This happened in an open, obstacle-free area (a wide parking lot). It felt unsafe, and getting the drone to land was nearly impossible. The RTH function barely worked, and after some time, it finally landed. We packed it up and decided to return it immediately.

I received the V11 Veenix Drone on 15 Jul 25 and so far I am pleasantly pleased with its performance. I tried to hover it inside and I got the joysticks confused and it flew all over the place. Banging into the floor and walls and it didn't break anything. Two of the propellers hit the floor, but no major damage. It is very sturdy and well built as far as I'm concerned. I'm a beginner, so I have nothing else to compare it to. I have tried the camera and video yet, but that's my next step. I would highly recommend this drone especially for the price.

Nice entry level drone allows the operator to learn how to handle failures like low battery, loss of signal and other issues relatively easy with less panic. Return to Home is not accurate but unless you need to land it within ten yards or so it'll get it back to where it can be guided in. A bit of a hassle having to calibrate it every time it's used. waiting on GPS signal can take time so if you want to capture a time specific start early. Be prepared to re=do the start up sequence. For the price a nice drone/quadcopter.

Overall I like that the support team's response was very quick when I found an issue in their app and then even did an overnight build for me to use the drone until they fix the original app. another great thing is the fly time it almost goes up to 30 minutes which is a very nice fly time in drones. there few good and bad points, in the good side the drone is a pretty good design while it is really meant for outdoor flying it is better to fly in an open area if you don't have an open area or there are winds then it might be difficult to control and the chance of losing is high. A few times I bearly could bring it back with a very low to no wind area. another thing to keep in mind when using the GPS return function again it will not come back and land exactly the same place so you have to be in an open area since it may come down in a neighbor's house of on a tree which happened to me. love the ability to control the camera up and down, and the picture quality is great, again keep in mind it does not have a stabilizer so when moving around the video is very shaky it's not for videography really. one other thing I wish it had is a protector around the propellers to fly in closed areas or not too open areas with a chance of hitting objects. another function I wish it had is the sensors to not hit the walls or go into trees which I saw in cheap drones for $50. Another function again I wish it had is to customize the control, I am having a hard time with controls all the time pushing the wrong handle up and down or left and right, I wish the right handle left and right was to move left and right and not turn, while the right handle was turned so it was easier to fly with one handle how any helicopter control is. again I am happy with the drone while I can't fly much in my area I have to find a very open place so my heart won't stop from falling into trees or walls or a neighbor's house. I recommend this to people who had some experience with smaller drones and want an upgrade, not pro not basic but right in the middle kind of drone it is, also looking for a discount I will rate this one around $200 so buy it when it is on discount.

I couldnt believe how easy it was to get in the air. i unboxed thr drone and while the battery was charging.i read the manuel. battery charged,i took to the skies. took me all of about 5 minutes and I was in the air taking pictures and seeing my property in a way i never thouht i would. 400 feet in the air i could see everything. The battery is amazing lasting 30 minutes each instead of 7 minutes like other drones its size. I was so satisfied with the drone,i bought a second one,yes i have two. its fun when i hav e them both in the air together. I have one follow me and the other doing orbital survalance of my propeerty. i did crash one of them. a prop broke while 400 feet in the air, it came straight to the ground. the fall snapped a piece of the main body and the camera protection along with the mount for the camera. camera still works. so now i get to see how the support team works. i sent an email and added the thins they asked for and inqired about replacement parts. can i buy the parts are they avaible you know the rutine right. to my surprise they responded with great speed and blow your mind satisfaction! they informed that parts for repairs are not available and no infomation about when they would be if ever. i continued reading and i couldnt believe the solution thay had. full replacment of the drone! unbelievable, I am a very satisfied customer and will be for a very long time. all of my future upgrades and new drones will be thier brand! i couldnt be happier,i recomend this drone and company hands down 10 stars even though i can only select 5 stars.... Thank you Veeniix!!! Wanted to add to this review and say a year later the amount of support I've had with this company is unmatched in anything I've had a question about. Also it's been a year since I got this drone and they are giving a choice of props, battery or a landing pad. I chose the landing pad because the batteries are the best I've ever seen offered with any drone. If I were you I would buy this one, you will not be disappointed

Haven't yet "fully" givin a long test out (been to cold in n.y.) But setup was pretty straightforward while watching accompanying video ran indoors. Pretty freaking cool!
