Its not perfect. My major gripe is all the thick plastic bags for stuff. That could have went into making nicer wing nuts/assembly hardware. Smells like the free toys included with fast food kids meals from the 80s/90s; in otherwords smells like happiness meals. Thats a star alone right there.Your window bug screen setup might need adjustment / cleaning depending on an intake/exhaust setup. Reguardless I would imagine crap on the screen either getting sucked in or pushed around depending on your window design, perhaps to the point of being forced out from too much outward airflow; so I think a decent sized duct run from the window to your fan is nessary to prevent a lot of problems stemming from bugs, rain and so forth and if your window opens horizontially then you pretty much have to put the outlet on the bottom for stability reasons.

Good product

This is designed to be modular for a 4" or 6" duct. The adapter that fits into the oblong clip is pretty heavy compared to the rigidity of the plastic panel it clips into, and once you add the duct onto the adapter, it really flexes the panels. You could potentially overcome this by adding a support of some kind, but I think for a few dollars more, they could just increase the plastic density or something to make it a bit more rigid. Other than that, it's an almost perfect way to vent outside without drilling holes.

Super annoyed no one else mentioned this in the reviews but you can't lock your window after setting this up. It seems obvious in hindsight but who tf thought this was a good design? It was easy to set up and seems to work but what's the point if I can't secure my home while using it?
