WENKO20887100 Vacuum-Loc® corner shelf Bari - fixing without drilling, Steel, 31.5 x 8.5 x 22 cm, Chrome

I had to write this review because of all the negative reviews about this product staying stuck on the wall.I placed my order on 29 January 2019 and installed it a few days after I received it. As of today, 12 February 2019, the rack has stayed in place and remains stuck to the bathroom wall under my shower.I installed it as per the instructions. The only problem I had was aligning the suction caps with the connection points on the rack. With any suction product, the suction will fail at some point. Suction doesn't stay put forever. This type of suction by vacuum seems, in my opinion, to be a lot more reliable.I didn't take any extraordinary measures with the tiles that the suction caps were placed on. Just a good wipe and that's it. As I said, the basket is installed under my shower. It's stuck to the corner of the wall and gets a lot of water spray as you would expect. Even this hasn't loosened the suction. It's still up and staying strong.I haven't been paid or given any incentive to write this review. This is my honest opinion of the product and I felt that it was important to write the review to knock back all the negative reviews.Update 21 August 2020: The corner rack is still stuck to the tiles in my shower. Since the day I installed it, I haven't had the rack slip or come unstuck. I've got a few items from Wenko and I can honestly say that they're the best vacuum loc fixings that I have used over the years. When installing, my tip would be to do the suction with the manual tiny pump a few times whilst it's in place. There's no need to remove it and redo the suction unless the alignment isn't right. Just pull the pump a few times whilst connected to the suction cup. From reading the other reviews, I think this is the key to getting a stronger vacuum between the tiles and suction cup.

I was quite sceptical about whether it would work but has stayed put and is supporting a reasonable weight. So easy to place and have now bought 2 hooks for the kitchen. Like the idea that they can be moved if I need to. Excellent buy.

Initially was sent out with a faulty suction cup, I emailed the seller and they send a new one that arrived the next day.Almost two weeks and it sticks well, Its half on tiles over half on glass, no sign of becoming unstuck on either, feels very solid.Some other reviews complain about the size of the lower shelf, its been fine for me fits small bottles like face wash, have put bigger bottles on the top.

I fitted this product in my new shower and after 2 weeks it started rusting at the wealds as the chrome treatment was poor despite the item description stating 'Rustproof chrome steel: the corner shower caddy is rustproof, stable and for longstanding use' - not in my experience. I did contact the manufacturer WENKO, they responded by saying 'The item should be cleaned regularly to remove shower and limescale residues. Otherwise rust may form on the surface.' Clearly no interest in what is a very poorly applied finish to their product.Fixing method on this product does work well (the USP).Thanks to Amazon I have returned for refund and will now be seeking a better quality product from alternative manufacturer.

It seemed like such a good idea but alas did not stick on the tiles long enough. The vacuum loc technique was easy to do however on tiles which easily misted with water, the suction caps loosen on the wall and slipped off. Its a shame do want to keep the item however may have to drill into the walls which i did not want to do. Having tried many variants of these drill-less shower caddys seems like there is no other alternative to me. Of course it depends on the tiles you have, others have experienced the caddy sticking onto their walls.Will still say its a lovely product, the design is lovely and shelf seems well constructed just shame doesnt stick onto my walls

It works, looks good and has plenty of storage, but it is an absolute pain to install. Value for money? Middling.

This shelf system is brilliant, easy to fit & easy to use.A nifty little suction pump for extracting air from the suction cups. I used the suction pump twice on each cupI used gin to clean the tiles and after 4 months its exactly where I fitted it and crammed full.Well worth the money!!

These didn't work in my bathroom, my walls are not true and they wouldn't stick. But the toilet roll holder I have is brilliant - see other review.

This shelf is holding 2 large bottles of body wash and shaving cream! It holds up beautifully! It is a bit trick to install level in the corner. They could add a corner template to help. I had to create my own template to ensure level

Un po' complicato trovare la posizione giusta nella parete. La tenuta è perfetta, almeno per il momento, ormai sono tre settimane che l'ho montato, ne ho comprato un altro

Ich habe den Artikel nun seit mehren Wochen hängen. War schnell aufgehangen und hält seitdem.Würde ich wieder kaufen.

det finns ingen retur lapp i förpackningen, man kan inte skicka tillbaka, jag måste betala 110 ;- för produkten som kostar 250 för retur !!!!!( vilken adress???????) inget telefon nummer , ingen adress , ingen epostadress , ingen chatt, ....., det finns allt på websidan men ingenthing fungerar , jag är mycket arg, hur kan man vara så ???? jag har inte betalat än men jag måste betala innan 25 Maj , utan att kunna skicka tillbaka produkten som är inte bra .väldigt dåligt
