I have been drawing portraits for a couple of months, i have found this book so helpfull, it is very well written and esy to under stand.To anyone wanting to draw portraits but dont know where to start this is the book for you, there are many demonstrations to help you, after your done with this book you will be well on your way to drawing good portraits.This book is good but if your looking to learn more realistic portraits i would go for lee hammond or carrie stuart parks, but for the beginner this is a great place to start.:)

I found this book to be most helpful, I studied art many years ago and having retired returned to portraiture, this has been an excellent book to help me to grasp the basic principles
