My GO TO Knife.
I bought this for filleting fish, or things like that, but I use it everyday for something.Old Hickory Knives have been around for a long time and they are made well and very sturdy and if you keep them clean, they won't rust and they sharpen easily too.I have other good knives, but I always use this knife for whatever I am cutting and it has never failed me and I don't think it ever will.Very happy with this knife, and the price was par for what they sell for anywhere you find them.

US made beautiful knife
I like cooking, I bought similar knifes about 20 years ago, still use them every day, and this is very similar. The best thing about it is that it is US made. It's difficult to find anything that is not made in some other country now days. I like the wood handle, the blade is clean and smooth, non-serrated straight edge which is very sharp and seems to hold the edge very well. For this type of knife the price is great. It looks expensive, it is beautiful knife which I would recommend to anyone.

Great knives at a great price
I have had these knives in various flavors for quite some time. They are solid and have stood up to everyday use as well as butchering elk. One thing to remember, with these knives you need to clean and DRY them after every use or they will discolor. If they do discolor, you can restore the finish with steel wool or a wire wheel. They keep an edge very well too.

Quality USA made at ridiculously low price
My only complaints are Ontario / Old Hickory doesn't sell this knife with a sheath. The blade is also a little stiff but it does the job. The handle is well pinned and the blade is a good quality stainless steel that takes and holds a excellent edge. The price is ridiculously low, especially for a knife made int he USA. It doesn't look as nice as a Rapala but it is every bit as functional. As I keep it in a tackle box, a sheath would've been nice. As Ontario didn't supply one, I took five minutes out of day and made one with duct tape. Still going strong after a year or two.

Love Ontario knives
Love Ontario knives. These knives hold a spectacular edge. This knife arrived on time and pretty sharp though I didn't order them expecting them to be sharp. Once I sharpened them with my wicked edge sharper they have held an edge extremely well.
