Beautiful quality and embroidery generous amount of fabric and inexpensive

I regret to say that my experience with the BENECREAT Organza Fabric with Embroidery Dragonfly has been quite disappointing. Despite its promising description, the fabric fell short of expectations in several ways. Firstly, the quality of the embroidery was subpar, with loose threads and uneven stitching detracting from the overall appearance. Additionally, the fabric itself felt thin and flimsy, lacking the durability expected for its intended use. Furthermore, the fabric arrived with three holes in it, making it inadequate for the intended project. Overall, this product failed to deliver on its promises, and I would not recommend it to others seeking high-quality fabric with embroidery.

I decided I wanted to wear Princess Mia's dress from princess diaries. I found a white dress but needed the lace to go over it. This. Was. PERFECT. Not too expensive, good quality and almost matched the dress completely. I did have to buy two quantities to cover my whole dress but it came out amazing

This organza fabric is soft and well made. The dragonflies are embroidered within the fabric, so no worries about them coming off. The organza is see through enough for an overlay on a dress I'm sewing for my niece (I can still see the pink fabric underneath the organza I've layered on top). It cuts well with no fraying at the edges. I've washed this in the normal wash cycle in a delicates bag and let it air dry for best results and no shrinkage occurred. Great value for the quantity and quality..

NOT ORGANZA as listed, not even tulle, and has no body at all as organza would (and is not the same fibre or weave as organza). It is more like something between a limp tulle and a limp netting. Not lace, either. It was 57 1/2” wide, not 33.5” wide and on the selvage it measured 3” short of two yards, yet down the middle on the fold, it was 7” short of two yards. That’s a HUGE difference and totally unacceptable for anyone selling fabric. Fabric ratings for garments are based on fabric that is relatively square, so this could end up making it likely that someone will be short in cutting a garment based on a 2 yard rating. More care has to be taken in cutting to be more square, Mine isn’t the only yardage to arrive this way. I’ve included photos to show the difference, with squares placed at the selvedge edges and the folded edge. The dragonflies were pretty, but for the price, I’m not happy. It is very bad when a vendor lists something and is not accurate in what they are calling it and also when they cut you short on what you should have received.
