Five stars for being heavy duty. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best brace I could find *by E***O on September 2, 2010* I have been playing basketball all my life and have chronically bad ankles from various injuries I have suffered over the years. I have been through many kinds of ankle braces in an effort to ward off new injuries, but these ones seem to give the best support for me. I've bought at least half a dozen pairs of these over the last 2-3 years. With ankles as damaged as mine, I'm bound to injure them even with braces on once in a while, and it has happened even while wearing these. However, I am sure they saved me from even worse injury. The price is much lower than some of the other brands like Aircast, etc. They do take some time to put on, but you get good at this quick. After playing in them 2-3 times a week for about 6 months, they get stretch and get 'soft' and are not as good a support as when they were new, so I buy several pairs a year. After a while the laces wear out from friction on the eyelets and may snap, but you can replace these fairly easily.
