I use it everyday one for making rice and the other for boiling water for tea. Water boils in less than 10mims and temperature adjust pretty fast. So no need to get scared when you wash it using cold water after a few minutes. I don't use my rice cooker anymore for the past year. I love that I can see my rice while it's cooking. Set the alarm for 7min to boil and another 10 min for low fire cooking.
