Poor quality compared to what's available for not much more....just for the convenience of having both usb ports on either end doesn't make this a deal breaker either!The seller advertises this with a thermal pad illustrated which is generally supplied with other similar priced units and is recommended to protect your drive from prolonged heat by dissipating heat, this however was missing the thermal pad in the box. No worries....I have spare thermal pads so got the slimmest one which is about 0.5mm thick and guess what?....it wont slide into the shell as there isn't enough clearance to put even the slimmest available thermal pad to protect your nvme/m.2 drive and dissipate heat effectively under heavy load. Makes sense now why the thermal pad was missing/taken out!I did just quickly connect the enclosure to test the performance with a 500gb fast nvme drive , the performance was poor in terms of transfer speed and I noticed the casing become warm within about 2 mins of transfering some raw video files and getting warmer.....unplugged and removed my drive immediately.Anyway I decide to get some support from the seller via Amazon's app....when I clicked on the link for the company support, it directs me to a odd looking Samsung website! This isn't a samsung enclosure!Brought it to Amazon's attention and this poor quality enclosure is on it's way back to whom ever sold it via Amazon.Like I said much better alternatives available for not much more!

Comes with everything you need to install a drive and set up for use. Sturdy, and well built. Gets a tad warm when using, but does the job.

It took me a little while to figure out what to unscrew and how to put the SSD in but once I did, it worked well and fit for purpose. The only issue is the SSD I needed to use is bigger than the case, so I used it without the case, but that is ok. It looks well built.

Working well enough but the case itself isn't wide enough to add a heat sink, I have to nervously slice into the heat sink to peel it off my ssd to fit the SSD into this enclosure.But it's working well, handy that it has a 3.0USB and USBC at each end

The device worked fine for doing a simple clone job from one nvme.m2 drive to another. However, the clip that holds down the drive in the case was missing. It appears though it was shipped with a semi-sticky thermal pad instead though which held it down. Doesn't feel great but it worked ok. The outer casing did get warm to the touch but it wasn't significant after a 25 minute clone job.

Installing the ssd into this case was extremely easy.Once installed, it was just a simple matter of plugging the case into the computer's USB socket and then you have a plug-in external drive. SIMPLE!

Overheats NVMe cardsIt's about 10-17c hotter using this product vs others
