I purchased this item for my husband for Father's Day. He loves the clock and extra plugs.

I needed a new alarm clock and also wanted to utilize this as a way to charge my phone instead of cords. Although I enjoy the alarm setting ability, there are times when my phone wouldn’t charge even if I had it placed properly on the circle.

This is a great clock at night, but the charging ability is intermittent. One night I can charge fully, the next night it won’t charge my phone at all. I still use it for the clock but plug in my phone. Not worth it if you’re looking for just the charger.

Love the clock and adjustments and easy to use functions as well as the extra usb to charge other items. But the issue we have is sometimes it will charge the phone and other times it does not. we have done all recommended things like shut of turn back on and make sure phone is on correctly but you think its charging you go to sleep and wake up with a dead phone because it either stopped charging or was not charging correctly.. the other thing i noticed was how hot my phone would get while charging.. not satisfied with my purchase..

I held off writing this after having the unit for a few weeks,, but now I have to agree with several of the other reports.You go to bed thinking your phone is charging, and wake up with a nearly dead phone.Yes, my phone & case are “compatible”,,And yes, I am careful about placement.I look for the phone to indicate it is accepting a charge,, and the LED on the front of the clock will enter a slow-flash,,, confirming it is charging.But every couple of days, I wake to a un-charged phone.Not happy.Been a brand-loyal customer for years.
