A literal game changer for silicone items/props
I’ve always struggled making props with silicone and trying to find viable ways of adhering them to anything else without damaging my silicone or having items tear. SIL– poxy made it insanely easy to affix silicone pieces to just about any kind of fabric. I’ve already gone through one whole tube, and purchased two more since then. The adhesion is strong, the items have held up well in my washing machine with both cold and hot water, and I stress-tested the h311 out of my items by running them through the dryer several times, leaving them out in the heat, testing different solvents and chemicals to see how they would hold up and the SIL-poxy managed to hold up extremely well under all the conditions I subjected it too. Smooth-on makes incredible products all around!

Nothing much to say - it works as expected, which is to say 'very well'
There's not a lot to say when a product does exactly what you'd hoped, so this review is going to be short and sweet. It repaired tears in two pieces of silicone that were tearing. If you're familiar with silicone (which I assume you are since you're reading this) you may know that tears just keep getting worse with silicone, if left unattended. This completely repaired the tears (which were extensive) and saved it. I'll be honest, despite the other good reviews I didn't expect it to work, and if it did, I didn't expect it to last. It has been months now, and there's not a single sign of the tears re-opening -- this product is awesome.

This is how you bond silicone.
Absolutely THE WAY TO GO if you are trying to bond polysiloxane (a.k.a. silicone) to itself. Cure is within minutes. This product is fantastic for prototyping. This product is for people who have a firm grasp of what they are trying to bond.

Surprise - it works!
If you've ever tried to repair a silicon breastplate you know that nothing sticks to it - not even duct tape nor the patches you can apply underwater. So I sent for this adhesive. I figured it would be safer to put a piece of gauze over the 3" gash and apply the glue over top of it. It worked, and has held. When I got a second hole, I decided to try it without the gauze. I put a piece of waxed paper underneath the break, applied the glue and smeared it over the rip. Once it set, I flipped the breastplate over and, just to be safe, applied glue to the other side. It has also held up. The dry time is amazing. You have 5 minutes to work with it and in 10-15 minutes you can move the piece. Be careful of the fumes. I don't stick around while it sets.

Works amazing, but wear proper PPE!!!
One thing I learned with E6000 adhesive, was you can get toxic chemical poisoning incredibly easily... so I made sure to read all the instructions and info on this packaging before I started using it. One day a friend swung by and she couldnt hear me through my giant respirator (which has the duel side filters), and I removed it. A couple hours of working without it, I was super sick, dizzy and needed to chug fluids to flush that out of my system. Be smart, be safe, wear the proper PPE.Now! That being said! I am SO impressed with how much product you get in such a small container. I'm working on a 6foot 3inch long tail, individual scaling, and I was able to do about 60-70% front and back, before I ran out of the first tube. I've since finished the scaling, and done the fluke, and still have about 50% of the second tube. It adheres really well until you get into the mid 80s for temperature. Then it starts acting a little goofy. But the days it was 72-83 ish; worked perfectly and I have no complaints. I know things acted odd the other day because it was too hot outside. I really need my own shop.

Doesn't work on silicone rubber.
No adhesion whatsoever. Let go the instant I picked up the two pieces I wanted to join. Super glue is the way to go, not this so-called adhesive.

Useful
This works as it should. I do wish there was a different method for applying from the tube like a pump bottle or something.
