Good quality just doesn't quite fit my blue barrels thread, note there's numerous sizes and suggest not using metal on plastic as it will strip threads fast

Drum reducer and valve
This item worked perfectly yesterday when I used it to fill my boat ! The one thing you should know is you can put a short hose on it with a clamp to give it a little flex I really like it

Won't Fit
Will not fit my plastic drum. My other cap fit perfectly, but this does not.

Another one that doesn't fit
I could not get it to fit and darned if I know why. Given the number of other similar comments, it evidently is a common problem. I spent half a day trying to get it to work and could not. Even got out the vernier caliper to check the thread dimensions and they all checked out according to 2" NPS specifications. Also, they matched the dimensions of the plug that was in barrel. I even ground a 1/8" bevel on the bottom end of the threads to see if I could get it to work. Finally gave up. It is a shame as it seems to be decent quality. I wish I could give it a higher rating but if it doesn't fit, it is not of much use and I have much better things to do than spend half a day trying to attach a fitting to a barrel. If you get it and it fits your barrels, great. If it doesn't, don't waste your time trying to make it fit. Just send it back.
