One of the best soy sauces around
This is the stir-fry sauce I use most, along with Lee Kum Kee's Premium Light Soy Sauce and the equivalent Kikkoman sauces. It's full of rich, intense flavour that never edges into the sickly or metallic. It shares a highly salty, deep, Marmity umami with the Lee Kum Kee Premium Light Soy Sauce. But it also has dark tones of its own, straying into notes of molasses and black treacle, with less immediacy to its sweetness than in the Premium Light Soy Sauce but more subtlety. The differences make both sauces worth having and often combining.Though it is deeply, intensely coloured, this dark soy sauce is liquidy and pours easily into the pan or various dishes; so it's easy to ease. It's not a ketchuppy sauce like the oyster sauce made by this company, for example. In my opinion, it doesn't gain by being watered down too much, so it's best mixed into food at a late stage, with other flavoured additions, such as Shaoxing wine and sesame oil. A dash of this sauce across a chow mein or special rice dish gives it the perfect flavour lift shortly before serving. It brings a dash of rich, brown colour too.You might find a dark soy sauce as good as this one, but I doubt you could find a better. This is a good-value product, so there's no need to spend any more.

Was about to order more, but price increased. Shops cheaper, in my case!
Nothing not to like about this product. The best dark soya sauce, I have tasted. £2 for a 500ml bottle (ordered 4 bottles) excellent value. Just went to order more, seller, out pricing themselves. I can still buy it for £2 for a 500ml bottle at the local supermarket. Plus the 10% staff discount. Obviously convenient to buy it if you can't or don't want to go to the shops.5 stars for the four bottles originally brought/value for money.

This soy sauce was a revelation to me. It is so far ahead of any others out there. wonderful taste, and as has been said before - a little goes a long way! I originally thought that the sauce was too overpowering not so, I was heavy handed - live and learn. excellent sauce and would heartily recommend anyone to buy it. :)

Would buy again.
This product is so much better than some of the similar products you can buy in the supermarket. When preparing onions for a burger put a very small amount of oil in the pan and then add this soy sauce until tht the onions turn a golden brown. When almost finished frying the onions add a small amount of sugar. The onions will taste great.

Too expensive - I recommend you only but this from amazon if you have absolutely no other way of getting any.About three times the price of the local TescoGreat product though with a good strong taste
